I’m appreciating your videos. But GAWDDDDDAMNN. WHAT IS WITH THIS TREND OF FOLKS USING LAVALIERE MICS THIS WAY!?! why not just clip it on or use a shotgun mic since you are sitting in one place anyway? Sorry for the rant. Appreciate your coverage of this leak 🤘

I tried it when I first got the mic, but didn't find the quality to be great. Might try again. I love this mic because it's great for shortform as well and easy to travel with - and I'm doing the whole nomad thing.

A mic is a mic, does it really matter how they hold it/mount it so long as the audio does what it was intended to do?

@@buildinpublic you should get a Shure SM7B mic. Yes, you'll need a mic stand or arm, an audio interface, and an in-line preamp, so it's not cheap, but it's so worth it. Holding a lapel mic just looks silly and is visually distracting.

I'm in SEO and have always assumed Googled lied about just about everything. Based on observation alone, things they claimed didn't line up. But when a company has to claim "do no evil" as a motto, you can pretty much assume their real motto is the opposite! lol! When just about every move they make reduces user experience while they say "we only care about user experience" , it's easy to see that they aren't telling us anything of value.

For sure they can't erode shareholder value. It's classic intelligence agency info dumping some truths mixed in with lots of lies to confuse the populace. But yeah, like yourself, all the real SEOs were not surprised by the leak. Not to be that guy, but I am that guy ;)TBF they were founded with do no evil in their mission and removed it later. (around the time they sold their soul to big corporate publishers)
