@@Zacman1123 Yes, April Winchell's father is the late, great Paul Winchell. He also voiced Zummi Gummi in Disney's Adventures of The Gummi Bears, and he even did a couple Scooby clones for Hanna-Barbera. Winchell voiced Goober from Goober and the Ghost Chasers, and Woofer from Clue Club.

Peg is so underrated and I'm so sad she's not included in anything anymore. She was a perfect partner to Pete. Sweet and caring and very much loved him, but also knew when to raise her voice, stand her ground and put him in his place.

@@tybonds531 disney changes pete’s species constantly. In his first appearance he was a bear in the early 20s. Then a cat. By the time they started pairing him with goofy, he evolved into a dog.

Who ever wrote Peg lines is quite the comedy genius. ^^

From what i remembered, she was actually a good mum n better parent than Pete. Infact, most of her transgressions were towards her husband cuz of whatever BS he was up to each episode

For once, I agree with you. Pete has no right to treat his son PJ a slave. That would explain why Pete from A Goofy Movie say "Hey, my son respects me." But we know it's not respect, it's fear. PJ fears his dad even though Pete doesn't want his wife to find out or she will give Pete a taste of his own medicine.

Probably because of Pete also being known as Pistol Pete in the old shorts. Probably a reference to that. PJ is Pete Jr., had to get another Pete connection somehow.

You can't convince me that Peg leaving Pete is non-canon because we see how he acts towards her lol

Goodness, cartoons used to look so good. But I was born after Disney & WB’s 80’s/90s TV renaissance; having grown up in the 2000s, all cartoons (even ones also by Disney) got so simplified compared to this and never really returned to this level of quality, both in animation and in voice acting.
