I love my Vector 4 seasons. Use them all year in Sweden. Snow- predictable, fun in the wet and really good dry performance. And it sits on a performance oriented vehicle also. Not going to compete with semi slicks in the dry but a very good compromise. Comfortable too.

For those who are thinking of getting these tyres, there are a couple of aspects to cover. They are relatively week on warm wet tarmac and in warm and dry conditions in terms of braking. If you look at the tyre you will notice that this is a properly winter biased all season. In cold season they are second to none, they outperform CC's and CC2's without braking a sweat. Other than that, probably the best all season so far, suitable to drive all across the UK, not dividing it into regions, like some professional tyre reviewers do.

So much better than regular summer tyres. These will get you home. Used them in 2 inches of snow on an incline with no slippage. Jury is out on deep snow yet ! They have been great during the wet windy winter in the UK. Better than Crossclimates in the wet, even though the CC were great as well. CC might be better in the snow n ice. Mind you the Gen 3 feel better than the CC during the Summer months @ 15-25°C

I have the Gen2 Goodyear vector 4 seasons, already more then 25.000km and still 8mm on the grip. Very good performance on the wet- North Germany as well as on 10-15cm snow near Austria. I have them on my lexus is300h and the fuel/ noise performance is excellent. I guess i can expect that also from the Gen3 ;)

I had the chance to test them on packed snow and ice down at minus 10C and I was pleasantly surprised at the grip. I'm sure dedicated snow tyres would be better in such conditions but these feel like they would get me home without resorting to the snow chains (though I will always carry them in winter as I'm a pessimist).

@@ColinMill1 Yep had them on lightly snow and iced roads as we recently had a cold snap here in Dublin. Honestly felt no difference so definite confidence inspiring tyres. Also had them in rain and can safely advise no aquaplaning issues felt very safe in that regard. Also the lateral grip is tremendous on these too

Yes, definitely the best all season tyre for the UK climate, in my opinion. The sacrifices are in the dry performance, but this is to expect for a winter biased all season. If you are a reasonable driver, you won't see a difference in the dry. If a heavy footed one, look for something like CC or Bridgestone A005 evo. Other than that, the Goodyear Gen3 will take you through the Scottish highlands in winter and torrential rain in Kent in summer. For me personally, the all season must have that extra edge in the wet and cold season overall, that is why personally I recommend Gen3 to all people who are looking for a well rounded all season. There is no such all season tyre which is perfect, don't forget that. It is entirely down to you how you will use it and extract its performance for your own safety and for the ones you care. So good luck with your choice, mate👍

no word on noise I hate noise droning tyres some say 69 db 71 db 72 db WHICH IS IT

They're not that noisy, I've them in 225 50 R17 and the label states 70db but they don't sound noisy tbh. There fine fuel wise I'd rather have a more fuel efficient tyre than a noisier one personally.

I have had these tires on my Jaguar XF for about six weeks now and they are absolutely fine. It’s obvious that these tires were made to disperse water breaks the water up into very small droplets and almost sprays it out the sides. I haven’t aquaplaned even at 60 miles an hour going through a puddle yet. These are brilliant tyres it’s just started to snow so it looks like I might get the chance to report on how they perform in the snow. They are a bloody good tyre
