Goodwood Members Meeting 2023 SF Edge race
Goodwood Members Meeting 2023 was fantastic, and for this movie I concentrated on the SF Edge Trophy for Edwardian (and older) racers. Filmed with only a pocket camera and nowhere near the official Goodwood channel quality, it gives my personal experience of their three moments: qualifications, race 1 on Saturday and race 2 on Sunday. Both won by only inches by the 1905 Darracq, which has a V-8 engine that gives 200 hp !!
What a great weekend, thanks to all involved for making it happen !

Love all those Edwardian beasts and all those exposed running parts. This is one pf my favorite time periods for many things. It is great to see these classic machines put to their proper use. The Darraq is a favorite for sure.! 🙂
The SF Edge Trophy has been my favorite race ever since the 74th MM. Great to see this type of footage!

Spot on , I find myself looking for the ant hill mob , and peter perfect....
I take it, mes amis, that some of these 'Fjivers' have "constant loss" engine-oiling systems. How are they dealt with, so as not to wet the track, etc?

I think maybe the oil is combusted in the combustion chamber .. ? leaky piston rings ..
Avoid “rear ending” the Sunbeam at all costs.

Love the video. However when panning one direction do not reverse while still filming.
