Lovely sheepskin. I used to clean mine on very cold crisp winter day when there was a deep fresh snow. I would take it out and give it a dry shampoo with the snow, shake it out, hang on the outside line for an hour, bring it in and comb it as you intend to do. It came up beautifully and smelled fresh like the outdoors. Having told you all that, I did the same with my live house cats. I would pop then into the snow bank play and rub their fur with the sparkling fresh snow that twinkled in the sunlight. (I didn't hang them to dry-lol). Popped them back into the house and they would sit in the sunny front window grooming themselves. This cut down on any dander that caused allergies in the house. My Mom taught me this - and she did the same with her fur coat. Hang it on the clothesline outdoors and rub with crisp dry fresh snow. (Back in the days when we wore fur up here in Canada). Now that I live on the west coast we don't get snow and if we do it is sloppy wet and only lasts for a few hours. Not suitable as a home cleaner.

Rugs. I used to take my throw rugs, antique ones, out in the snow and sweep snow over them to clean them.

Just found your channel! I'm new to resale, just started the end of May. You are stunning, so classy and so kind! Thanks for sharing! I learn a lot from you! I wish all resalers were as polite as you.
The clear glass fan plate was used for ladies' parties such as bridal and baby showers. A matching cup would typically hold punch and sit in the indented area. Fancy in its time!
You two are so adorable! So happy for you both finding each other - a match made in heavenly Goodwill😊
Usually, GOOGLE LENS will identify your glassware within seconds... most of the time.
Karen you always make me laugh! Today it was ‘guess they’re not friends anymore’. Just love your sense of humor ( and your videos).
Thank you for always providing such a great education for us. Very fun.
🥰Love, love, loved this video👍💓 The pens are wonderful🖋 and one of a kind and history. You too are fun to watch.
I am homebound now, i’m 70 and have back, knee and hip problems. Bad enough I can’t shop. I do have collections that I add to from Ebay or Etsy. When I did thrift I had a special purse (oversized) and I kept thrifting supplies like a tape measure, black light,4 of each size batteries so I could test in the store, magnifying glass, dollar tree readers with extra strength….. you get the picture. Your buggies are just WOW. You’re from the north so you probably say cart. Lovely rug. I’d keep it…it’s sexy. LOL
Sheepskin Pelt: Had one for many years that I brought home from Australia. They sold and described them by the number of pelts it took to make them. You can usually flip them over to count the pelts.
The lidded clear glass candy dish brought back childhood memories of grandma filling hers with delicious individual chocolate candies

I fill mine with perfumed dusting powder. My grandkids think I’m so fancy!
I hit play on the video and turned to get a drink of water, when I turned back around, you had two carts full. I just laughed out loud. Great job.

Me too!
A good friend of mine when I lived in Maine made pens as well. He would use historical wood, etc and even made pens for our family from the fur of our family dog after he passed. He also made us pens from our children’s special crabapple trees purchased for them by their grandmother when we sold our home and moved to Vegas. Also, since Maine is known for lobsters and hunting, he created pens from shells and moose & deer droppings(sanitized of course)! Wonderful gifts. He sold them in gift shops up and down the coast.
Karen, you are so organized I am shocked you don't know if the go-pro is charged! But it made me laugh, we can't handle everything! I know that! Love you dearly! Our Goodwill has raised prices like crazy. Cheap handbags were 3.99, now cheapest is 7.99. Lots of dollar store items selling for 2.99. Lowest price they sell anything for is 2.99. Your Goodwill has so many wonderful items! TFS!

I worked 75 hours this week so couldn’t remember if I charged the batteries 😂
Great finds today! That was very nice of you to give the information on the Timber Creek Turnings. Very unique pens.
Aww thanks for the shout out Karen ❤️. You got great stuff that day 👍🏻👏🏻
Thanks so much for featuring the pen artisan…just purchased a pen for my boss,s retirement gift. Because what do you get a gift for someone who has everything and can afford anything…a handmade pen from his favorite stadium!!! 😀

You can iron out creases with a dry iron on the back side of the poster.
Just started watching you two. Yall are amazing and so helpful amd such great tips thank you 😅
That is a GORGEOUS sheepskin! 😍
Those pens are incredible! How inventive!
Hand crafted pens are quite common here on the artisan island, Vancouver Island and the many Gulf Islands. Made with many different kinds of wood from our rainforests, Aboriginal designs, and they also make turned handles for sewers seam rippers, crochet hook handles, etc.
We had almost this same horse lam in the fifties. Mother got it with green stamps!
Hi, Karen, I have to buy that horse shoe horn from you when you list it. My husband just said to yesterday, "I need a shoe horn!" thanks for all the random useful information!
I love that you know your stuff and don't buy things that are low or questionable quality and/or condition. I really respect your good choices and the prices you charge are fair. I've really become a fan of your channel. And your gorgeous husband adds interest and a little spice as well. LOL.
The vintage inspired bear on wheels was made by Ganz. I purchased mine in the early 2000s. There is also a sheep and a reindeer to go with him.
I believe the fan plate pattern is Daisy and Button.
It’s BEEN a LONG MINUTE!! Glad to take this time to catch up with two of MY FAVORITE PEEPS!!!☺️🥰👏🎉🥳

Believe the rolling polar bear is also House of Hatten. Enjoy your Channel!
That Lamb's wool would be so good for an elderly person to lay on to keep them from getting bed sores.
You two are the cutest couple!! Love your channel!
My father was a wood turner and he made pens just like the ones you showed. I have several of the ones he made from wood and acrylic, they are family treasures.
I put my sheep rug in the washer on cold, delicate, and hang dry. When dry I brush it out with my dog’s brush. The back does get a little crunchy but smoothes out over time. I would just brush it out if I were you for reselling.

Way to big to fit in my machine 😁
Those pens, very interesting, such a talent!!! Thanks for sharing!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞
My Dad made hand turned wood pens. His kids and grandkids each have one of his pens to remember him. And his great-grandchildren have made pens using some of his tools that we passed down to them. They are wonderful, useful, thoughtful gifts. I like Karl's approach to upcycling memorable items to make his pens -- very cool idea.
The glass was beautiful!!! Especially the compote!
The jack o lantern tea pot is everything. 😂

The rug, amazing. We haven't had a haul video in a minute.
You both are great, I really enjoy watching you videos.
Another great video! Thanks to you and Roger.
Sounded like they were having a dance party with the loud music. Party at Goodwill! I learn so much from you. When I thrift now, I look and stuff and think “what would Karen say?”
Daisy and button🥰
Love that horse lamp!!
Hi Karen! Hi Roger! It’s too early for me too 😂
Another lovely video & lots of fun to watch
Thanks for another fun video.
GM Karen. The Connie Mack pen was from the Philadelphia Athletics "A's". My grandfather was a water boy for them. Babe Ruth was playing there and used my grandfather's bat and broke it. Babe then gave my grandfather one of his bats and signed it George "Babe" Ruth. My father has it now.
Omg 😱 I’d love to have that candy dish
Karen, I thought the USPS charges extra for 22" and over. The pens made by Carl were really cool! Great gift idea!
Love the video ❤❤❤
nice as always Karen
well, its a contact sport here in the bronx...lol...keep on keeping on!
Karen I’m very picky and I saw online olive trees sold at wal mart. They are on sale. I saved 40.00 dollars. Just a thought. I got 8 foot. They do have different sizes…… hope that works for you. My order came very fast.
Wow great shopping
Oh I would like to have Goodwill in my country... Best regards from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Those champagne glasses would be good for your booth!
The glass fan pattern is daisy and button. Very common pattern in older glass.
That horse is a vintage tv lamp…..when I was young relatives had a panther lamp on their tv…but I did see a horse lamp once…

Do you ever repair items? I am thinking the pumpkin with the chips. Kim and Don aren’t friend anymore😂😂😂 Off to check out the pens!
Great video
Hi Karen and Roger.❤ we are thinking about doing ebay .
I love clear glass….the reason they break it is so that no one gets a free piece of glass….you either buy it or they destroy it. Some of it is antique but they don’t care. Hello Goodwill 😅
Morning Roger and Karen.
If clear glass was sellable, us resellers would be millionaires!
Daisy and Button design on the fan shaped plates.
They dont let us go thru carts of " new" stuff.....we have ro wait until they put them on shelf or rack!!! 😢 But there is an hassle or fist fight over items on Saturdays and Sunday when they put the new colors tag out! Its crazy ...I miss out on great stuff but I cant stand to watch grown adults fight over used stuff! 😱🤪
Get a black light and shine it on the glass if it is green it is old and valuable
My GW would want $99.00 and I’m not kidding. They’ve raised their prices again and their price for just basic stuff is 9.99. Crazy. All going to a landfill
There is a ceremonial every year in Gallup, NM
Hi Karen an Roger lv coming around with you Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👋👋👋
❤❤❤
Some minor chips can be repaired with nail polish and/or sharpies. I just make that fact known in my posts. I have a large collection of nail polishes and color sharpies just for this purpose. hope this helps.
I am not a fan of pelts of any kind but the other items you pick up are very cool.
You have great Goodwill's. Our's SUCKS!
Love watching your videos. I live in Southern Lancaster County. (Yes, my last name is Lancaster too. 😄) I shop at Rt 30 Store at least once a month. I do look for you. Maybe one day, I'll get to meet you and sah Hi! enjoy watching what treasures you find to sell. Thanks for sharing about the pens. Gave me an idea for my husband's Christmas gift. Thanks! Was wondeing, does Roger have an ebay page too?

He does. Click on the ‘more’ to read more in her description and it tells hers and his.
Love the sheep skin rug there a steer huge rug at are thrift store for 295.00 to high for my walet
Canned air or a air compressor would work to get the dust and leaf bits off the rug or other shaggy plush, etc.
I wonder how much business you bring to goodwill? This one is so big and the quality of the donations are so good, makes me want to visit.

Hi Karen I guess you already that Walmart sells artificial olive trees 6 and 7 ft reasonably priced. Love your husband's white hair.
There’s a reasonably priced olive tree at Costco right now.
You should have taken the glass fan.
😍😍
Collectors prefer perfect as well, we do not car to hide a blemish by turning the chip to the wall.
I have a sheepskin waiting for me to clean it. It has yellowed quite a bit and I’m needing to learn how to get rid of the yellow.
❤😊
I have to say I was so disappointed!! I thought from that haul your video would have been longer! I guess that happens when you get all hyped up for something because I saw your post on Instagram. 😊
