I kept it local and visited my local Goodwill. I found a few pieces to flip for a profit and then drove down the road to Antiques Marketplace of Lemoyne.

The lidless canister would have made an awesome utensil holder!

I’m with you. Just because it was made to be a canister doesn’t mean it has to be a canister! Reinvent and repurpose. I tend to think outside the box.

I thought the same thing. 💐
I literally sighed with relief when you picked up the elephant. He is soooo cool.
The blue house is Delft. there were what the airline KLM gave out as gifts for their business passengers. They were filled wiht gin. There was a law suite brought claiming that they were over the value that was set for the gifts. KLM argued that they were giving away the GIN. the Expensive hand painted houses were just the bottles. The gin at the time was worth about 10 cents! They won the case and kept giving them away. They can be worth picking up if it turned out to be THE one that someone needs to fill out the set!

I have a collection of those KLM things, well, what is left after I smashed several in anger. My late husband traveled for a job for years.
The lidless canister may be could have been used for spoons and such. Also the canister with the lid that went with it could have been used for maybe bacon grease. They would have been a good set together for a kitchen. But I understand you not wanting to to get it without the lid. Thanks for another great video.

KLM was the Dutch Royal Airline. The little blue and white houses are replicas of real houses in Amsterdam and other cities. They were gifts for first class passengers. They are nymbered and very collectible. I love them.

I don't collect them but that's what I thought they were.
That Kevin McAlpin painting is called “Faces”, & goes for $500+. Great buy! ♥️
I bet in the back room of every Good will there is a mountain of lids for everything !!😁
🥰that clear lucite purse took my breath away!
The swan decanter is amazing. I am so impressed with your knowledge, you knew it was Louisville before looking at bottom.
Thanks for taking us shopping! Always full of lovely goodies ☀️
I never get tired of your videos! You have such a great eye & nice soothing voice to watch!
Incased glass vase is beautiful. The elephant is too cute. The goose decanter is beautiful.
I remember having those butterfly pictures on my wall in the 70s I like to go shopping vicariously through you.
You could always sell that canister without its lid as a utinsil holder. Love you girl!!

The large canister that is missing the lid could be used as a Utensil holder
I wish we had antique/thrift shops here in middle Tennessee like you have there! The Goodwill's close to me are just blah. I've learned a lot by watching you, thank you!
That decanter wants to be my watering can for my houseplants!!!
Did anyone notice the older gentlemen in the mirror while she was filming the trinket boxes? It made me laugh and jump when I noticed him. 👀👀👀
The crow is amazing!!!
Beveled is cut, convex is the word. Concave is easy to remember, as it goes in like a cave.
My Mom had the exact same Sears cannister set. Thanks for bringing back good memories.
Yay!! You saved me from boredom, Jocelyn!!!
Always learn a lot. Thank you.
Beautiful lamp at 11:03 Great price too! 😊
Always fun thrifting with you! Such cool things in that basement!
Always fun watching the videos
The canister could of been used for utensils

That swan decanter was so beautiful & elegant & I don't even drink. Gosh I could see my girls when they were little fighting over who gets to our juice out off it first. It would never have made it long it out house, lol.

I see the KLM house decanters ever so often and pick them up if they're cheap enough. I've never seen the Delft Blue houses as planters before though.
Cocktail in hand, ready for adventure...thank you!!
Oh that crazy quilt was stunning!
Love the Louisville Swan Decanter!! I'm from Lexington & I've never seen one like that! Great eye & awesone find!
What a fabulous place. Great tour!

That Swan decanter was cool!
Fun video as usual@!

If you pick up that skunk lid, I'll but it from you! I want to hang it in the wall! I collect them! I live in NJ but rarely get out to pa. Don't know which one you were at but.. Stinky cheese.. Awesome!
It seems like even the Goodwill is raising their prices. Doesn't surprise me at all! The Sears canister is nice.

Love the store u went to lots of awsome beautiful treasures .The purse is very pretty differnt to never seen one in that style before. I would love to come for a visit but unfortunately i live in California i haven't been back home in the East Coast for a very long time . Hope u and your freind have a wonderful time at the store .Thank u for sharing
Convex*,Jocelyn! Weeping gold is nice for Picard collectors too, makes a nice go-with
KLM airlines, brought out those Dutch liquor bottle houses.😁 Omg…you picked up the painting!!Thank God it was still there!🙏🏻🥰I am so happy…and it just stunning!!😍 Lóve the lamp,so beautiful!
That little brown elephant is aborable!!!!
I would have gotten the lidless canister for utensils or to hold the dish liquid bottle by the sink. I bought a 1970's Sears canister and left its mate on the shelf since it had a small crack. Every time I went back to that GW, it was "looking at me!" lol. I finally "rescued" it because it did match the one I had and I hated for it to end up broken in the bins.
I loved little blue and white house
“I could be fancy just once” 🤣
Your glowing girl! 😁
The big canister I would repurpose as a utensil holder, and the little one with the lid, a bacon grease holder to sit beside it at the stove.
Some amazing things
Love the wine swan
I had those Sears canisters when I was a newlywed in 1979! I had coffee mugs also.
The Sears Roebuck’s canister without a lid can be used for a utensil holder.
I would love that stinky cheese lid!
I had a quick look on prices of lucite purses. I think maybe you should have picked it up!! Love the videos. I eat my breakfast watching you every morning x
Arianna at the Withering Cottage recommended to snatch up the framed butterflies.😊
Hello Joslyn, nice video girl ! 🤗
I call it bubble glass. Works for me!
Convex - concave ‘caves in’ is a way to remember it
Yes girl be fancy
I am here again. Yay!
That stinks cheese lid is too cute!!! I’d hang it on my kitchen wall for sure!
Yay! At 8:33 you picked up the painting by Kevin McAlpin (for an incredible price). His artwork has sold for much more ($550) at auction as recently as last year.
I love the rooster. Want to buy it. Hope to see it for sale soon.
You could use the canister with no lid as a utensil holder.
The blue low candlholder has a place for a clear glass chimney.
Could have use the canister without the lid to either put a plant in our put utensils by the stove in would have been really cute
I agree. The fish plate did look like a crab claw at first glance.
😀lol you picked up Pier one again!!! 😁
Stinky cheese just needed a Command hook
I always try to guess what you are reaching for. Getting better at guessing!
I used the large one without a lead for cooking chancels
Those lucite candle holders are very desirable go get um
The canister without a lid works good for your large utensils.
I would have loved to get the dino glasses.
I found the Rooster and hen canisters from Sears, the large, medium and small, they had one that was very little, so 4 all , I'm still looking for the tinest one for my sister she loves rooster, and hens, since she raises chickens, out of all the designs the chickens are by far the cutest. I paid $5.99 $4.99 $3.99 at my Goodwill one of the neatest finds I have ever found.
YAY!
00:47 Oh, for certain. That canister set was in the Wishbook during the second half of the 70s. The complete set has the four lidded flour-sugar-coffee-tea plus stovetop salt and pepper shakers. 01:02 OK, gonna eddicated-guess you have a complete coffee and the bottom of the flour. 01:31 It's awful small for what it is, but that's a blinkin' Paschal candle for Easter! I recognize the iconography. (When I was an acolyte, our little Episcopal church would have a 24 inch tall, 1-1/2 inch diameter one of them each year.) 02:57 Are you positive that's _not_ a KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines, and don't make me look up the original Dutch, it's long and awful) Bols house? I'm getting the same strong vibe as you are. 03:50 I like the Parisian paint and it looks like it hasn't been through the washer a whole lot, but the missing screw stopper knocks it in the head, for me. 04:13 I never even knew there _was_ BBT trivia. 04:30 My first reaction is it's some babygoth's bustier. 08:15 Yay! Wishing I could be there as well. 08:45 Well, I missed it too but now that I come to look into it, "everyone" is right and $45 sounds undervalued. 10:06 No, defo not given that "not for food" modernity giveaway. 14:47 Oh! It's a salmon. They grow hooked jaws like that during spawning season, at the end of their lives. (I'm dubious about $100, too.)

04:30 😆😁🤣
14:23 Owl with jeweled eyes is beautiful, wondering if it is a jeweled Lenox? 15:46 the lines and color on the cream & sugar set is fabulous! (hearing you say that in previous videos! 😂)
The way I remembered the difference between convex, and concave when I was a kid was, when it's concave the glass "caves" inward. So if it doesn't cave in, but instead is dome shaped, it has to be convex. That's how I memorized many things in school.
Lucite purse was awesome deal if latch works and doesn’t smell
A lidless canister could be used to hold kitchen utensils and the little chip wouldn't matter then.
If you got the lucite candle holders,I have 7 sets of candles. I'd gladly mail you a set. The foam around the bottoms have dry rotted on some. I have I think a set that color flakes. If not a gold flake set would or could work.
The second last item you picked up in the ending video you showed a roster with a repair on its comb. I hate to fun sponge.

It's from a collection called Elvas collection. As soon as I saw it I checked into it and the sale price for 250 was 2 years ago. With 1950s jewelry and lucite so hot right now I'm sure it's worth 350 and someone will buy it for that. It's my my thing but someone elses.

Our Goodwills often have random cans of food in their hard-goods section that are usually priced way above grocery store prices. Cracks me up. I often wonder about the people in the back pricing these things. 😂
It’s a crab claw with an eye. Lol
KLM Liquor bottles were used on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
If you don’t find the lid, use it for utensils. I am coming to your meet and greet. Can’t wait.
i love louisville stoneware is it cornflower where did you source?
That is what I was also thinking...
You walked right by 2 pieces of Hall Orange Poppy china.
