I’m definitely a “ grand millennial” . I’m 31 this year and have always obsessed with Victorian, Baroque, Rococo, French Versailles type of styles since I was a kid. I love vintage floral tea cups and floral wallpapers, iron metal bed frames too. I often call myself “ a young body living in a wrong era” hahah .

Great finds! My favorite find this summer is a vintage Italian heavy brass and glass bar cart at Goodwill. I got it for $29.99. It’s worth a couple thousand. I had wanted one for so long. All the new ones I’ve seen are so light, poorly constructed and much more than $29.99. I ran out of that store with my bar cart like I had just knocked over a bank.💃🏻

Oh this was such fun! I’m always amazed by the size of your thrift stores in America - ours (which we call charity shops, or second hand shops) are mostly teeny tiny! My favourite thing I found was a 1950s silk evening coat in orange and black (orange background with black hand-painted looking roses). It’s so stunning and I can’t wait to wear it!

The dusty miller looks so nice in its new pot. I love the creamy lace dress and the teacup and saucer too!

We all know the fabulous items are all sold the minute they are rolled out on the sales floor, my favorite find this year, so far , is a French pot metal statue standing on marble. My nana had a ‘tea caddy’. She used hers to display her chicken salt & pepper shaker collection. She had a very large chicken collection. I have one set of her shakers and one set of life sized chicken/rooster set from the 40’s.

You look stunning in that dress ! I too was drawn to those rose dishes !!! Oh my I may have to go back to the roses again lol loved the sweater for Pete and the throw for your Mom. You too are the perfect pair and the videos are fun to watch !

My favorite thing I found this summer... today I found a vintage starburst Hall teapot at my favorite thrift shop.

I bought a small galvanised steel cabinet for my little patio. It holds napkins, silverware, tablecloths, books etc. I cover it with plastic in rainy weather and a tablecloth in the summer.. My kitchen is upstairs and it saves me a few trips!! Great video Selena, thank you.

I can also envision that bone china tea set on the gold leaf and rose plate.

My favorite find was a beautiful handmade Choctaw Tribe Swamp Cane Shopping Basket. Picked up for $8 and flipped it for $200!!! Also loved that it went back to Mississippi where it was originally from and it was purchased by someone who knew the artist….. (there was a tag attached with the artist name and location)

The plates you found with the gold trim was one of my favorites that you found. And pairing it with your cabbage plates is simply stunning

What an uplifting and joyful video, thank you so much for sharing your time at the thrift store and back at your home. I love everything you purchased but especially those beautiful plates. My best and favorite find this summer is a large, wood platter (17" X 11") that is decorated with a still life, it appears to be some sort of transfer, the colors are muted and it was made in France. It is in excellent condition and I paid $3. I will use it as wall décor.

I love when you take us shopping!!! I'm so envious of your Goodwills. The ones in my area arent very good but we have a Savers that's Amazing just wish we had more of them.

I’ve had a bad cold for over a week and you and that ugly fake plant in that pretty vase. I started laughing so hard it brought on another coughing marathon. I watched another of your videos yesterday and the same thing happened. I’ve been so miserable with this cold and laughing so hard I start coughing is a happy relief to laying around blowing my nose. You always make me laugh with your honesty and the way you deliver yourself. I’m sure he coughing jags I’ve had have helped clear out my chest so thanks lol! Keep up the good work.
