Hmm just might have to schedule something. Been watching your videos a few days now and thinking about getting some paintings, prints and pottery checked out. One is a large heavy vase with a large genie lamp incised on the inside top rim but no other marks or signatures and other items.

Keep getting busy and missing the live. Darn it! But, I’ll shoot for next time. If I miss, I at least always go for the replay.

Whaat? alright, I accidentally somehow got here. . .referred maybe, cool ;) this is right up my alley, very enjoyable treasure hound stuff, I'll be back soon. . .

Hi Dr Laurie got me trying to ask a question if you ever do any folk art ? I have a piece of redware pottery it's a rooster Bank I had for a long time . I saw it on the site Pinterest it was sold already. I haven't been able to find out what it sold for . I know absolutely nothing about selling. @@sallynelson7599 I suggest a diamond test on the Shopping page on my website along with other treasure hunting tools and storage solutions.

You can still find valuable items from the Salvation Army family stores, though! I found diamonds, gold, very valuable Chinese antiques some of them are worth over 1000 dollars a piece.

Finds are everywhere! Resellers, regardless of the venue or online, are listing items that they just don't know or don't care.

@@DrLoriV That’s true! I was talking about local physical thrift stores treasure hunting. When I have to go out shopping for food and stuff, I always check out the Salvation Army stores and Goodwill stores. The Salvation Army Stores always have real treasures waiting for me, while Goodwill stores have nothing good, because they put everything good on their website. I have to pay a lot to get them from their auctions.

It's funny but I wanted to ask when it came up! whether Pomona glass like vases are all over right now, being bought/ sold. My '67 antiques book on curlicued frosted Pomona glass was not popular when made, but became popular before and during that time. ( Can set flowers into gathered top!) I dont get why people don't read the marks on their items (BE FOR) they go no camera with Lori. Look for markings so she can make a better estimate of what you have.

Plenty to find online and in their stores. I've seen Goodwill miss so many items over the years and remember I see tens of thousands of items from all of you. If you know what you are looking for, there are real bargains to be found.

I hope you have a healthy and long long long life haven said that if something happens to you 😔 who would you suggest talking to that is in the same business as you ? Not that think something is going to happen but I lost my dad in 1999 and then my oldest brother in 2019 then 8 months later my mom so losing people is on my mind constantly right now sorry if I sound down but you said something that hit me about shopping when you lose someone and shopping and watching you has got me out of bed I have boxes of stuff all around in my house and I plan on reselling the stuff but I want to join your site for you to tell me what it is worth .
