Oh even better they have an entire staff of people who sell the really good stuff on eBay. All charities are now eBay resellers.

I stopped Donation GWILL THE day I saw all my items I donated On counter, shelf over priced 3 times even for which I paid way less from the store . They suppose to be non profit . They are tremendously profiting off free items an all that they receive . Salvation Army does the same thing .I rather give to the church & shelter than goodwill.

The first item you showed (green glass pumpkin) for $3.99 was a Dollar Tree item. Do better Goodwill! 🤨

I see that quite often. Canning Quart or Pint jars along with throw away pickle, mayonase jars for $2-$3 that are really cheaper new! I got brand new half gallon canning jars for $2 with lids and rings last week.

Goodwill has become to expensive to be relying on. Only when im bored and happen to be driving by to i browse.

That was a potato bin, and they are back in style retro is popular. Market place it would sell. Like your shirt😊

Goodwill should throw out all damaged items. Nobody wants to pay for them.

💯 Frankly it ticks me off that they put obviously broken items on the shelves(like a figurine missing the head). They should have a section for chips and cracks. The items could be sold at very discounted prices. People could then decide if they want to purchase the item.

What you need to realize is Goodwill is staffed with let's say not so careful people, so if you tell them to put a star on a Christmas tree that's all they'll do until told otherwise. If they are told to load up a cart with priced items and put them out on the shelves that's all they"ll do. Goodwill does throw out items that do not sell and they are carted off to the local landfill.

There are much better places to shop than GW Mikey. Think 🤔 outside the box.

Mikey maybe sometimes when you think shopper “jacked” the item, maybe just maybe it was the original owner and they donated the parts they didn’t need/want. When I was in Murano Italy touring a glass factory they said there is no way all the glass claimed to be Murano is really Murano because there’s just never been enough glass blowers to make that much. I’m not sure exactly how they worded it but it certainly made sense. Yes even the made in Murano stickers are fakes.

You can mail a fishing rod in a PVC pipe. You mmight have to send the reel in a box, but PVC works really good for long skinny items.

I used to love going to garage sales & flipping it on Ebay ,7 day listings meant I had a wage coming in every week . I used to love getting a bargain , but listed it , made a profit . Also your goodwill shops are well presented .

I always kept potatoes in the biggest part and onions in the smaller part. Never had a problem with it. I raised 5 kids also so the supply was always used and refilled.

Most of their prices are way overinflated at most locations. Really not worth it these days.

What annoys me is that they throw items that do not sell into a dumpster bin?! The things some goodwill and thrift shops throw away are gorgeous! I watch a woman that does the dumpsters that does both, goodwill and thrift stores and their dumpsters! Such a waste!
