Hiya Jason, TSMFS! I’ve never seen those bracelets, how beautiful: oh geez everything you showed was! Love your new shoes, I’d buy those in a flash as I wear mostly black & silver or other metallics on occasion. I got a pair of Docs a few yrs ago on clearance that are suede glitter, if we ever meet in person we can be twinsies😂! Looking forward to the 101 series! Have a lovely rest of the weekend, much love! Jason, you always bring us unique subjects, and information about them. I’m certain a number of people are running to their Bakelite bangle collections while this is fresh in their minds to discover if they have any of these amazing pieces. You have determined to use your platform here to educate collectors and resellers on the intricacies of materials and techniques from different periods and places. Helping to build confidence in your audience is a worthy goal, and pointing out things that are worthy of a second look is worth its weight in gold. You are dearly loved by so many wonderful people, never apologize for being yourself, natural and unvarnished. People want to find and read the articles that were done about you, so please don’t shrug them off out of modesty, you have paid your dues for the knowledge you are sharing here, not for money…but for love of what you do. You are a rare bird Jason, with plumes of glorious colours and forms…and that attracts like minds.. you have earned all the success that comes your way. Let me finish by repeating words you hear with frequency….❤️❤️❤️I love you just the way you are❤️❤️❤️Always, and forever, there will never be another you.❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🇨🇦

I found a brass perfume bottle holder that has a removable top. The top looks like the Taj mahal. It is square. On the bottom it has a little hinged r door that opens so you can put the bottle in. It looks like it is missing a stone, but I found that the space is for a portrait. It is about 1 and half inches tall by about an inch wide. It is marked France. It is filigree. It's cold enameled. I love it. I have never been able to find it online.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Love your channel learning a lot from you
Love the lesson on the Iro-urushi bracelets and I also found the word Ao-urushi. I never heard that word Urushi. A resin from a tree by the same name to create a lacquer. Interesting how it's been confused with bakelite. However as much as I love bangles the trouble with them unfortunately not everyone can fit them over the hand darn it.
Aloha Jason😊👍

Another wonderful video! Thank you! I know about urushi because fountain pens decorated with urushi are very popular right now. There are still many works with urushi being created. One thing to note is that a few people are allergic to urushi because it contains the same oil as poison ivy. After the urushi product is complete, there is only a very small trace of this oil though, so only people highly sensitive to this will be effected.
