You have quickly become one of my most favorites to watch. Your talent, and staging are well done , but you have a calming quality to you as well. As far as the basket goes, I'd leave it as is. It could be used to store table ware on a sidebar or hutch , or an addition to wall baskets in a living room. It would go perfectly for either , then dress it up from there. Thank you for sharing 😊

First, love your videos. You have a great eye and lovely style vision. My question or comment is I didn’t know about Goodwill Outlet (that’s what they call their by-the-pound stores) until my daughter worked at a regular over the summer -the regular stores send unsold items to the outlet to be so,d by the pound so nothing like you pulled out from Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, or other top brands makes it there so your local Goodwill stores must work differently. We learned a lot about thrifting after my husband lost his job during the pandemic and we couldn’t afford to shop at our regular shops. I’m always looking for bargains and my father and grandmother were raised on a farm and taught me how to reuse and repurpose because on the farm you couldn’t just run to the store. Anyway, my younger daughter’s job at Goodwill was perfect timing to help furnish my older daughter’s 1st real apartment after college. I’m glad video series like yours shows people how to repurpose things to both save money and save our dwindling planetary resources. Your episodes help inspire my girls and shows that mom isn’t the only one who thinks 2 steps ahead to what something *could* be. Thank you for sharing your stories & keep thrifting!

I am now addicted to the bins! I go every week at least once, I have found some of the best stuff for my decor, I have redone my house this summer and pretty much redecorated with thrifted items. I do have a tip for you, I keep an assortment of regular old acrylic craft paints on hand to fix the boo boos, sharpie never looks quite right and it's amazing what you can fix with the paint, I even fix chips on ceramic pieces and seal with clear nail polish, you can't even tell it was fixed!

Tiffany, I so love your videos, I really look forward to them, I really want to go to the goodwill bins , I wish they would bring one close to me. I love the round thick cutting board you put tacks , beads and flowers on and hung it, I think I will have to try that. Also what a great idea using the wheels of that hand massager to make a platform for your cutting board. With the basket , I think it needs some kind of flowers displayed on it or maybe some of your beads, heck you could even hang it to hold something light in it.

Another great haul! My pillow hack has to grab pillows at thrift or yard sales with a down insert, even if I don’t like the current cover. I bring them home and wash them up. I’ve got 4 euro pillows on my bed doing this and paid less for all of them than what one would have cost. My daughters call me a pillow groper because i can’t walk through goodwill without grabbing at the pillows to find the best ones. 😂

WOW, Tiffany your Goodwill outlet is a treasure trove of great decor pieces and your eye for finding them is incredible. Scores galore! Love how the wood box turned out with the ribbon, glad you pushed through. As far as the lidded basket with the stripe maybe a thick sisal rope for the edges, and a wood tag with a word, number or image dangling off the front. Otherwise leave it as but paint the top left with a bit more black so it aligns with the front apron if that makes sense. Oh and that frame on a metal stand to me is like a sculpture as is without anything inside. Love your style.

Hi Tiffany! Love the TJ Maxx panels. We don't get them here in Australia, and pressed metal of any kind is expensive. If we did I'd get some IOD air dry clay, turn the panels over, choose bits of the pattern to fill with clay, then glue it onto shelves/ boxes etc then paint.

I wish we had a goodwill Bin center here ! We go to San Luis Obispo CA every 2 months just to go to the Bins and also the Goodwill store their prices are so much cheaper ! Are last trip which was 9/30 my husband's bday we went for the weekend we had so much fun and brought a huge haul filled up are van lol. I purchased a nice dest for $3 only going to varnish it and it's ready ! I still haven't had time to organize my stuff but each day I do it lil by lil ! The 2 days we went to the Bins spent $98 and the goodwill $120 and I purchased a lot more at the Bins but what we spent was well worth it ! I found a huge chopping board like yours and wasn't sure what to do with it now I know you gave me a great idea ,Thank you ! I enjoy watching u dig wishing I was there digging too lol 😅

You should pick up an inexpensive sewing machine. There is so much you can do with just a straight seam. It would open up so many more projects for you. I like to look for beautiful fabrics at the thrift stores. A velvet dress can become a beautiful cushion cover when up cycled.

Hi, I have just subscribed because I love your taste and what you found. The chairs look amazing. Everything you chose is so nice and for 99 dollars for everything plus the gorgeous poof, that was money well spent. I live in Germany, and we don't have Goodwills here obviously, but I do go to charity shops which are called social shops. They are nothing like Goodwill but I do find amazing bargains. I go to fleamarkets, village fleamarkets, etc. Almost everything I own has been thrifted. I came to Germany with my suitcase so I had to start my life over. There is something deeply satisfying about hunting for treasures. Well done on all of your finds. You have a great eye. 👏💕💜

Honestly you could have kept your pumpkins with some color coming through. It was pretty and unique. If I lived there I would never have to go to another home store to shop. Tip: When trying to obscure or eliminate lettering on a surface, choose a paint color the same color as the lettering to paint over it...this will blend it all in and make it easier to repaint the entire surface. Another way is to use aluminum paint - a common trick when painting over graffiti.

OMG I see myself there having a shopping extravaganza. Everything you are touching I'm like yes. I can't wait for my time to come where I'm back in my own place and to have creative control. I would love to rent a U-Haul and to shut the store down just for me for maybe an hour or two, 😂 that would be a day that they wouldn't have to worry about sales. I'm only 4:34 minutes into the video and I had to share. I hope my comments don't offend anyone.

Thanks for sharing. I love seeing what you thrift and how you make them over. I've been a thrifter for years and have many thrifted things in my home. As far as the basket with the black stripe you added, I would leave it as is and not add trim.
