I remember back in the day when I was 5 or 6 years old, I'd go to village and everyday after lunch I'd lay down on the bed. And when it used to rain I'd ask grandma to tell me stories. That soothing sounds of the rain drops on the tin roof and grandma's stories was everything. I miss all those simple little details and people in life that made us happy 😢

This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. It gave me a safety feeling of being inside my family’s home, with my parents and siblings, while I fell asleep with the sound of a torrential rain falling on the zinc roof. I love rain and thunder.

Thank God for videos like this one. I had insomnia for 4 days and went to work exhausted unable to perform my job . Since listening to this video I've been sleeping a solid 8 hours ! It works and recommend anyone who's struggling with sleep to give this a listen you won't regret it!

You’re right. The issue with that is that I’ve been doing that for years ( exactly since 2008) and people tell me that I don’t care, that I have no reaction to situations. They expect me to respond with anger. They don’t understand what inner peace means. I won’t change my ways. Sorry!

I lose the hope 🥺...🇮🇹

Way back when I was young I remember this kinds of rains specially I grow up in the Philippines this kinds of rains,loud sound of thunderstorm for the whole nights I miss my country ! God Bless , I’m live now in US and my family for more than 37 years up to now I miss this kind of rains and nice to taking a bath specially in the day.

Does anyone else feel like they are standing in the rain listening to this? Needs the sounds to be from a warm and dry inside perspective::)

This brings back many memories of being in the rain, I'm in a tent, there is water all around. Too wet to build a fire. Just relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds. Warm in a tent in the forest. No one around for miles.

This was so relaxing! I just love when the sky is rather dark, but still light enough to see the scenery around you. To me it almost feels like being wrapped up in a blanket for some reason... 💖😴

I am deeply sad, anxious and scared most times, but also outwardly confident,, engaged in world. Rain brings me tears, against my will, and the vulnerable tears, bring quiet joy. Thank you.

When I was a child, whenever it rained my mum would wake my brother, sister and me up (my dad worked night),turn off all the lights and turn the sofa to face the windows. We would all sit there with hot chocolate and listen to the storm while waiting to see the lightning, we lived on a hill and could see for miles. We all grew up to absolutely love thunderstorms and do similar things with our children. I found out recently that my mum hated them and was terrified but by waking us up and pretending she loved them she found she could cope.

*Don't forget to smell the roses every once in a while. Time goes by so quick, it's easy to forget about all those little things that make life meaningful.*
