I don't own a horse but I love riding I have been riding for 6 years I met this horse in my 4 year of riding he changed my life now his owners are selling him on I felt so much pain its as if my heart has been shot. Last year I qualified for horse of the year show and a day before it my horse broke his leg I don’t have anything else to say 😭😭😭😭😭also I am a bit late but sorry for your loss

I lost firethorn - my foal, best friend for 5 years. I lost his brother a year later. I was only able to say goodbye once, but even then it was a promise to c them again. I attached a silver necklace to their halter a day before the screens came out. Today his halter is in my draw and the necklace rests above my heart where it his memory will always remain. And something I will never forget nor leave behind as the days go on People may not understand loss, they may never experience it. But to those who know it, will know that it’s the most painful thing one can go through. 3 years later it still hurts, still not fully accepted the loss but still trying to get through the days without fault.

I know how you feel my pet aka my best friend and my bird passed away one month ago and I didn’t get to say a proper goodbye to her. If you go to my channel you will see what she looked like. I know how hard it is trust me.... now I have buried her in my backyard I never forget the morning I found out she passed.

My friend got a lease horse, and he wasn’t perfect but I LOVED that poor boy. Now, halfway through the year, I am told he’s not 9, but he’s 20. I was also told by my trainer that I must step up and ride him every single day, to get him to stay. He was like a buffalo or 3 year old at the canter, Gallup’s into it, and jumps tiny cross rails like they’re 3.4. Now in quarantine, he has no chance at staying.

This makes me go see my horse everyday I don't want him to leave like this he's my best friend

I met a horse once ember she was trying to get sold I loved her and would always visit her and give her a treat I nicknamed her toffee one day I came to the barn for lessons and she was gone Sold..... I really missed her I know It is not the same but still

My old best friend, Whim, who is 22, is having the vet come tomorrow. They said they might have to put him down, due to him being dead lame on his leg where he has a chronic injury. I am so nervous right now even though I own a pony named Sunny, but Whim was my first horse and he is now a lesson horse at my barn, and I feel a special bond between us. I have owned/ridden him for 2 and a half years now. I can't stand the thought of losing him from my life 😭😭😭. I will edit this comment once the news gets out.

Yeah it’s like that for me too my pony has cancer and he needs surgery but it’s to expensive and when he’s in too much pain we’re going to have to put him down but I don’t think I can lose him my best friend

Losing your friend & partner rips your heart out. Tears will always flow. Losing my hunter at 27, cancer my world collapsed. He was my world. He didn't know what refusal was. His wisdom kept us safe. I miss him everyday. Memories keep me going. Sorry for your loss. Just thank God you had a tresure in your life.

i miss my boy so much. four months yet it still hurts like it happened yesterday i have a new horse, and he reminds me a lot of my old boy. its so painful, seeing him in that tack. they are almost like the same horse. they look alike, they act alike. i swear its like my boy is just in another body, but i know that really is not possible i will never replace him, he will always be the one that saved me for the first time.

I lost my horse, Dante, to a fatal case of cancer. We are never ready when they are, but we are always prepared. Dante was my heart horse, a partner of 12 years. He was a sweet dark cremello Andalusian/ Danish Warmblood cross. I miss him with more than my whole heart, for his teddy bear, yet grumpy attitude was the best. There wings always sprout before they have time to think.

My first pony was a cremello, they will always hold a special place in my heart. After six fabulous years together I lost him due to a broken leg. It’s been over twenty years now, and I still think about him often. Fly high, beautiful horses 🐴.

This makes me so sad for my horse today (Georgie) suffered from choke! I am still shocked that this happened to me and my gorgeous horse but she is so strong and I know we will both get through this and it will only make her stronger 🥺❤️

I had to say goodbye to the horse that made me not to give up on life.He meant the world to me and when I had to say goodbye to him when he was 5.Because he hit a jump and broke his leg and it was not getting better.Now I am just thinking about giving up on my life.

"How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard" I also lots my heart pony named Glory September 25/2021 she had something wrong with her hips and her lamnitis was really bad. So they had to put her down, it hurts to think about and i still cry about it today. And she made me so excited to go to the barn she also taught me so much, I still do not know what I did to deserve her, she was and still is the best thing that happened to me. and when she died I felt like I had no other horse or pony that I could possibly love untill I started putting more hours into the barn and realized that this one TB were a great match and we trust each other already but he will never come close to touching glory's special spot

I lost my mare (she is my pfp) last April and she was my best friend for 9 years. She was my first pony and taught me everything I know about riding, she started me off and took care of me. I put all my trust into her and she never once let me down and she never once broke that trust. I couldn't thank her enough for everything she has done and she has made me into the rider I am today. Thank you Dolly. I hope you can look down on me now and be proud of what you have made❤️

I miss my baby sm😭 I felt this💔 she was for sale and moved far far away and everyday hurts without my Mercy girl💔😭 goes to show how someone you love can be here one minute and gone the next,give your ponies a hug💔 I still cry about you every night, when I go to the barn it feels empty and not right. It feels like there’s a price missing💔 miss you Mercy💔💔

My riding stables closed down and my best friend has gone 😢😢😢 I have not stopped crying it’s hard but I will remember the good times we had riding in the fields and jumping the horses my best friends meant the world to me but now it’s like half of my life it missing😢😢I hope I will see them again maybe one day🙏

my favorite pony got sent away 2 years ago to another barn bc the little girls couldn’t control him and every night i cried and said what if i don’t see u again before you passed and that’s what happend. late june my mom texted to me that he passed away.

I’m sorry, I know what you feel I lost my boy Simon a few years ago and it still hurts me today and everyday, the first day he wore a halter I put a charm of a horse in a horseshoe on it and had the same charm on my necklace and I promised him “ everyday I will come see you, I will love you forever, i love you and I l know you know that, I love you Simon♥️" but after sixteen years together a pit bull got lose from some were and came into our barn and that stupid dog attacked him and some of the foals and none of them made it, nobody could stop the dog, no one could do anything to save the foals as they were too young and my horse had twisted liver and couldnt run. Simon I miss you, I miss you being here with me to help me through tough times♥😞

Tanja Also ganz ehrlich, so ein Kommentar ist einfach nur unangebracht. Ich glaube kaum dass sie glücklich darüber ist, in kurzer Zeit 2 Pferde verloren zu haben und ich bin mir sicher, sie dass sie nichts dafür kann. Vermutlich trauert sie gerade und dann so etwas unter ein emotionales Video zu schreiben, ist einfach nur respektlos!
