i love henrik larsson so much . I was born in 1995 so i didnt get to see him play alot or i cant remember it but he is my idol . and i just love him . He is the greatest player i have ever seen . His goal scoring record is unbelievable and i am so glad he won a champions league with barcelona because he deserved it because he was a world class player . A true Celtic legend And one of the best european strikers in the last 10-12 years. I am delighted he went to Barcelona and now to Man Utd. He's a God in Helsingborg to and unlike the rest of the western civilisation he doesn't need bodyguards etc. in helsingborg because the whole damn town loves and respect that man. he's so down to earth. love you man !!

i think its just amazing that with the exception of feyenoord, the man was absolutely loved where ever he played. A hero in scotland, a hero in england, spain and of course sweden. As a swede I'm so impressed with his career and achievements. His football intelligence and first touches are of the highest caliber. At 36 he should be too old to be a top quality player, but seeing him playing on such a high level in the UEFA cup, you get the impression he's still a spring chicken. QUALITY is the word that comes to my mind when I think about Henrik Larsson!

At age 33 he arrived in Barcelona, people doubting him after 7 years in the scottish league. Soon afterwards he got a serious injury, but was able to come back and showing his ability. Henrik Larsson was an exceptional player, being at his best after 30 years of age. A true professional and how I just wish he had played in the premier league during his prime, he would've made some of the household names pale in comparison ...

I'm from Sweden and I have to say that Henrik Larsson will forever be one of the best players, he is by far the best swedish player ever. Maybe he's ending for the swedish international team was bad (0-2 against Germany, Larsson takes the penalty and shoots it over the goal, no more world cup :O) but he was very, very good so respect to him, we'll never forget you!

Unbelievable player. Im a Hibs fan and i was sad to see him leave Celtic. He changed scottish football. He is a hero at Celtic, he is a hero at Barca, he was a hero for Sweden and he will be a hero at Man U. its just ashame he was 35 when he joined Man U because he is a true great and if he was younger could of easily become world player of the year. When Ronaldinho says Larsson is the best player hes ever played with i think that says it all.

'Most of the football greats have pasted through Parkhead's gates, to play football the Glasgow Celtic way' This man resurrected Celtic and almost single-handedly gave Barcelona the Champions League Trophy v Arsenal. The most underrated player OF ALL TIME! The reason why Barcelona won the Champions League last season! He can win a game ON HIS OWN!! It's a shame that he played for Feyenord and Celtic such a long time... back in the world cup 94 it was evident he had great potential, sad larsson never got to experience more time with the greater clubs of europe. i respect him for sticking with celtic since hes now a living legend for them, but he could have done amazing things elsewhere on a grander scale. because he is Henrik Larsson! He came in as a substitute and did what he was called in to do! And he did it perfect. No one can come up to his standard as an footballer. True Pro Footballer. And by the way, you said it yourself, He played 13 games and scored 5 goals. At the age of 37 and with a season or 2 in Helsingborg. No one believed he would do that as great as he did it, Today, at the age of 40+, he would do much better than most of the strikers in premier league.

The reason not so many people know him is because he decided to play for Celtic for 7 great years, because he loved the club so much. He could have played for Manchester United (true story), but i'm so glad he didn't. He's so good Barcelona signed him at age 33.

As a swede I'm so impressed with his career and achievements. His football intelligence and first touches are of the highest caliber. At 36 he should be too old to be a top quality player, but seeing him playing on such a high level in the UEFA cup, you get the impression he's still a spring chicken. QUALITY is the word that comes to my mind when I think about Henrik Larsson!
At age 33 he arrived in Barcelona, people doubting him after 7 years in the scottish league. Soon afterwards he got a serious injury, but was able to come back and showing his ability. Henrik Larsson was an exceptional player, being at his best after 30 years of age. A true professional and how I just wish he had played in the premier league during his prime, he would've made some of the household names pale in comparison ...

I've never felt the need to post a comment on youtube before, and as a Rangers fan this is probably the last video i would have thought i'd have posted on, but no one who witnessed this man play can deny he was/is one of the greatest ever footballers to play the game. Even after two leg breaks he returned and recaptured the form as if he had never been away from the game. Henrik Larsson we salute you sir!

I'm from Sweden and I have to say that Henrik Larsson will forever be one of the best players, he is by far the best swedish player ever. Maybe he's ending for the swedish international team was bad (0-2 against Germany, Larsson takes the penalty and shoots it over the goal, no more world cup :O) but he was very, very good so respect to him, we'll never forget you!
One of the most professional and greatest players to grace the SPL and could have walked into any team....... and did so. I'll never understand why people criticised his decision to stay at Celtic for so long, loyalty is a very rare thing in today's game. Just wish we could have had him at Rangers :) Legend

Unbelievable player. Im a Hibs fan and i was sad to see him leave Celtic. He changed scottish football. He is a hero at Celtic, he is a hero at Barca, he was a hero for Sweden and he will be a hero at Man U. its just ashame he was 35 when he joined Man U because he is a true great and if he was younger could of easily become world player of the year. back in the world cup 94 it was evident he had great potential, sad larsson never got to experience more time with the greater clubs of europe. i respect him for sticking with celtic since hes now a living legend for them, but he could have done amazing things elsewhere on a grander scale. One of the most complete forwards ever to have played. Anyone who ever played with him bear witness about his amazing character and adaptability. Seing him in Barcelona was a greater feeling than Swedens bronze in -94. He could have played up til his fifties

Larsson has proven to be one of the worlds best players he had an amazing 7 years at celtic, won the champions league for Barcelona ( HIM ) and always got a game for Man U and did score so he managed to prove himself in the 2 top leagues without any probs

I live in Helsingborg, where he plays now, he is the best player in the world. Unfortually his carrier is over soon, he is almost 40 years old but I think he will take over the coaching for Helsingborg.

because he is Henrik Larsson! He came in as a substitute and did what he was called in to do! And he did it perfect. No one can come up to his standard as an footballer. True Pro Footballer. And by the way, you said it yourself, He played 13 games and scored 5 goals. At the age of 37 and with a season or 2 in Helsingborg. No one believed he would do that as great as he did it, Today, at the age of 40+, he would do much better than most of the strikers in premier league.

Best yes is that every team he's ever joined has all said that he is replaceable. Even Man U after he left from his short visit there, said that he'd always, always be welcome back. When i first saw him at Feyenoord it was beutiuful. Besides that, he played for Barcelona.. you got to be good then.
The reason not so many people know him is because he decided to play for Celtic for 7 great years, because he loved the club so much. He could have played for Manchester United (true story), but i'm so glad he didn't. He's so good Barcelona signed him at age 33.
