I recommend taking the ideal line off once you know where you're going and changing it to braking only or off completely. You can usually brake later that they say and take a slightly crazier line, if you follow it you can only be as good as the line, don't follow it just let it suggest to you where to go

At 9:00, xQc is right. I have the same setup (Logitech G29) and the brake doesn't go 100% power unless you curl your toes at the top and extend pressure near the top of the brake if that makes sense. Pressing it forward with decent power only gives you 80% brake power, you have to like slam your foot into the top of the brake to get it to go 100%.

No, it's just skill issue. First thing, in iRacing you don't have to reach 100% in any car because in this game ABS makes you lose time, and obviously without ABS you lock up. Second thing, he doesn't release the brakes correctly and probably don't know what trail braking even is. Third, the brake pedal has to be stiff, so you can be more precise, if you have weak legs you can always change the deadzone, plus the g29 pedals aren't even loadcell, so you're either a teenager or weak af...

@@xMetal98 Maybe, probably doesn't help that I don't have carpet so everytime I press the pedal it just slides away. I used a shower mat and it worked decently well, but would still slide if I put too much pressure. And yea I know that you don't want to be 100% because you'll understeer, which xqc actually did a few times lmao.

Imma get some hate for saying this, but honestly good on X for actually attempting to try iRacing. That shit ain't easy.

I think you're ready now. if you can get a full 8-12nm Direct Drive sim rig, not only do you get insane feedback detail/FFB from the wheel the pedal feel with a load cell will feel amazing. it's built way better and will age very well

Even when he is a novice his reaction times are excelent when he drives reactively. If he had come coaching he would be a beast.

I have the same pedals. It’s CRUCIAL to use the clutch as the brake (assuming you don’t use clutch pedal). Will help a lot. Or just get a full rig. Will run you 2k for a solid one. 😊

i just took the rubber piece out of the brake in mine. they say it gets softer with time but damn after 6 months it was still like pressing against the wall so i took the pedals apart and removed it.
