@@EterPuralisHe also apparently wears his prescription lenses UNDER the yellow ones! Sounds wonky and uncomfortable as hell. EDIT: From the FAQ page on Neil Gaiman's tumblr: "They were contacts in S1 and S2. He wore them over his prescription lens, and they were special weighted ones to keep them from rotating. They inevitably did sometimes spin, so CGI was used to fix it when that happened."

A more in depth one is the colour of the back room of the book shop is a very particular shade of yellow called Vavavoom. Not only is this the word Crowley uses for people in love, it also matches his eyes almost perfectly. Aziraphale uses this colour in absolutely every element he can, right down to the duster he gives ‘Jim’ to clean with- this poor sweet angel as completely obsessed with the colour of Crowleys eyes…I just can’t with this show! ❤❤❤

Did anyone else notice the apples behind Aziraphale when the Metatron was having a chat with him? Did it imply that Az. was being 'tempted' by the Metatron? Didn't notice until my 3rd viewing...

I can't imagine how hard it must be for David to act with those lenses! Never worn non-medical lenses myself but I know from friends who wear some when acting that it's horrible 😂 A friend of mine had a fully white lense in one eye because she played a half blind character and said she saw everything in 2D 😂

While I’ve never had to deal with lenses like that, I am nearsighted and a theater kid. The only time I ever acted, I was an ensemble member part of like a monster menagerie thing, and we weren’t allowed to have glasses. Which was fine since I only had to do 2 scenes like that BUT I had to run down a flight of stairs, in the dark, and jump onto the stage. I tripped over other people and myself and ended that show with a bruise the size of damn california on my shins LMAO

Listen for The TARDIS when Aziraphale is talking to the man playing the harpsichord in GO2 episode 5. He promises him a Doctor Who annual and the background music gets Doctor Who-ish and you hear the TARDIS. Listen carefully. I freaked hearing that! Neil is a big Doctor Who fan too-- probably would have had a TARDIS somewhere if the BBC let him.

5:47 Earth is a Libra. Libra says Urgent Miracle. Now what, I wonder, does that mean? On a related note: Leo is lose a friend, Aquarius is Going Abroad, and Taurus is Going A Journey (sic). What do you want to bet that Crowley’s a Leo, and Aziraphale is an Aquarius or Taurus?

  • @demo2823

But they are both Libras, same as the world. When time started, that's the closest thing they have to a birthday. All angels, including Muriel who is seen as a 'young' angel, and the cherubs who are scared into behaving just like children, were made at the same time. If new ones could be made then Heaven would outnumber Hell.

@@tymondabrowski12 wow, I didn‘t know that. Thanks for the extra infos. That opens up some new questions for me though. If there are only a few days between the creation of the universe and the creation of earth, then a lot must have happened in this time (at least if we look at Good Omens) because Crowley and Saraquel created a whole Nebula and as a basis for that Crowley used a book with millions of pages. It probably took them a while to write that. And I think that designing the humans wasn’t done within a couple of days as well. Maybe Neil Gaiman(/Terry Pratchett) use a different timeline, I don’t know. Being an atheist myself I don’t know how much time lies between the creation of the earth and Eve eating the apple, but Crowley already was a demon, so the great war must‘ve happened by then. I don’t know how that could be squeezed in there somewhere, but if you know more, I‘d be curious to find out how it all fits together

or...or...we just ASSUMED Crowley telling Azi "Can I drop you anywhere?" was him asking if he could drop Azi at the bookshop. But in light of this, that makes no sense, as the shop is two steps away. Perhaps...perhaps Crowley was asking Azi out to go for a drive/dinner in a much less subtle way than he thought. I mean ofc we did think Crowley asked that to spend more time with Azi, but in this context....it appears though he was being quite obvious not just to us but also Aziraphale. Maybe not in a romantic way, but in a 'I wanna spend more time with you, I need an excuse, can I drop you somewhere?' way. Azi knew exactly what he was saying when he says Crowley goes too fast. And "Dont look so disappointed" also makes much more sense knowing Crowley had sprung the question knowing the bookshop, the one obvious destination, was right across the street and out of question.
