The restriction is removed for Skilled visa, Global Mobility visa and Scale up visa where you can earn more than your salary by working more 20 hours per week.
u can now earn more money in the UK by working legally for extra 20 hours from today 4th April ..
but hold up, there's a catch!this is NOT for everyone
1st criteria : this rule is only for people from 3 visa categories which are Skilled worker visa,
Global Mobility visa (old name was ICT visa ) and Scaleup visa .. so if u are a student or on PSW - please ignore this video.
2nd Criteria : U can work only in 3 categories 1 st : the jobs listed in the new Immigration salary list 2nd jobs in the same proffession 3rd list of jobs mentioned in the new SOC 2020 occupation code which u can refer table 1,2 and 3 from page number 81. the pdf is added in my broadcast channel.
once u review the list, u will Notice that u cannot work in any unskilled jobs which are listed in table 6, page 220 because they do not meet the required skill level . so u cannot do jobs like delivery jobs, driver jobs, cooks, recepentionist , admin or cleaner jobs.
Now remember - such jobs are targetted by students for their part time job. But u are not on a student or graduate visa- you are already on a visa which is given to highly skilled people and hence you are not allowed to do such unskilled jobs. I hope this is clear now.
