@@outsidethepyramid Ha ha 😄 no, it wasn't me. I used to work with a nice lady who was always on Slimfast or the Cambridge diet and she had to take laxatives because of it. She was slim and didn't need to diet anyway!

Yeah,these are great quality vids.

That is a rare version of the He-Man intro. The one on DVD and streaming removes the shot of the 'three others' to put on one more production credit.

So this was 20th July 1990, Total Recall had been released that Summer. I remember that TV Cook with Kathy Taylor - mentioned as Gwyneth Dover' below and plugging her book ! .. absolutely no internet mention of her apart from a few obscure cook books on amazon - strange.... Also isn't the Sun Pat Peanut ad at 10:30 not voiced by actor Bernard Hill of Lord of The Rings King Theoden (and Captain of the Titanic) fame ? I got here somehow by typing in Roland Rat's catchphrase 'Ratfans'.

I don't ever remember seeing HE-MAN ever when I was a kid. I only got into it about a year ago. Love it now, wonder if I'd have loved it then? I recall a few spoofs and having a book of it and that's abut it.

Man I remember this just after Italia 90. Andy Crane had just defected from CBBC as he was gonna be the new presenter of Motor Mouth. Made me laugh when Jeanne said what you doing and he replied I done this before as being in the broom cupboard he had more experience than Jeanne

I've watched a few of these vids from back in the day. The thing I can't help noticing is how much time is filled with telling about stuff coming up and what's on the following week, must be like 70% of the non segment time.

+623058top Wacaday was usually reserved for weekends and school holidays, can't remember that far back but could assume that the many schools would've broken up on that Friday (20th July) for the six week summer break. I'm sure someone with an old copy of a TV Times for around that time would be able to put us right.
