It's so cringy on elevators. One time when visiting my brother at the hospital, I got on the elevator first, and then a lady got on. I asked her, 'Hey, what floor are you headed to?' She says nine. I'm headed to seven. At the seventh floor, I said, 'Here's your floor,' and she stood there awkwardly. Thankfully It was my floor so I awkwardly jolted out of the elevator.

Yay an early ep :D watching as I get ready for work (and watching the eclipse on my college campus)

There are two episodes where you guys talk about Jake being Bradley's best man. Maggie's episode and I can't find the other one it's driving me crazy. I believe it starts with Bradley talking about how he went to a wedding over the weekend and the best man gave a lovely best man speech and he was thinking about how Jake will have to give his best man speech one day

I’ve always told people don’t just pick the person you’re closest to but choose the person who will do the best job BEING the best man or maid of honor. Like it’s not an easy job some think it’s just standing next to you and giving a speech but it’s so much more than that. Especially for the maid of honor. Since the bride and groom can’t (or rather choose not to) see each other then the best man and maid of honor are generally the person running around and getting things done. They’re the messengers and the decision makers. They’re the people that vendors and other people go to to get things done. You may want to chose your best friend or your brother or sister etc but if that person isn’t going to step up and take it seriously then don’t pick them. Pick the person you can rely on. The one who will be there when you’re having a nervous breakdown because it’s raining and the caterer cancels etc. a friend of mine picked her sister to be maid of honor and the sister literally didn’t do a dang thing. I was running around doing every thing and talking to vendors and guests etc and at the end my friend cried on my shoulder because she felt bad for not picking me to be maid of honor. At the end of the day I was there for her no matter what my title was. Pick the person who’s going to step up and support you no matter what their title is. Whether they’re in your wedding party or not. Etc.

QUESTION FOR YOUR NEXT OUTRO! 1. how do you guys memorize lines for an entire episode? i've always wanted to be an actor cos like jake says i love the attention lol but i also love getting into a character, putting on a show, entertaining other people, and making people feel something by putting life into the words i say. but i SUCK at memorizing and the thought of an ENTIRE script honestly stresses me out lol. but no dream comes w/o the hard work/sacrifice, right? do you get the script for one episode at a time and how long does it take for you to memorize? what have you found helps? LONG-WINDED COMMENTS 2. i HATE when you guys make fun of the hit the brake name because i genuinely loved it! i loved the intro song, i loved the play on your two names, i honestly thought it was genius and quirky. when jason made fun of it in said that 'the sit and chat' is a better name i was like yall don't give urself enough credit. you guys are really self-deprecating lol and yes i get thats part of your brand/appeal, 'cos by being relatable and self-aware instead of just being stereotypical douchey celebrities/ influencers you end up connecting a lot more with your audience, BUT you guys are genuinely a lot more fun than you guys give urself credit for. i look forward to hearing your podcast every monday, its the highlight of the week and makes mondays smth i look forward to instead of dread. u got me soft chuckling in my cubicle and occasionally laugh out loud, its kind of a problem lol. ur one the few podcasts i listen all the way through and am bummed when it ends. so YES ppl actually listen! and pls bring the hit the break intro JUST ONCE i miss it. 3. ps i really never thought that as a 22 yr old grown woman working a full-time corporate job i'd be saying that i have a fat crush on gabriel duncan but this podcast just made me love you dude. i love stand up comedy, i love country music, i love the gym, i love your bits, i love your self-awareness. you're so grounded and honest ur like yea i love erewhon smoothies and i know that makes me a cliche but you poke fun at yourself while still being authentically you, w/o taking urself too seriously. dude every time you laugh it makes me laugh and genuinely makes me happy. when you talk about waking up early in the morning and going to the gym im like dang i rlly respect his discipline and drive, thats honestly so attractive. when you talked about wanting to be a father im just like aww he's rlly the whole package. except when u grow facial hair (bc not ur look babe) but its ok i usually listen to the audio on google/apple podcasts, just hopped onto youtube to comment :) but hey mb someone out there is into it! TLDR you're a catch, bradley, and i hope you find you find your person, and i hope (she?) appreciates you for all that you are (since it appears u don't appreciate urself enough lol!) and helps makes your dilf dreams come true! (also ur so real for that bc same) thats was long sry i usually don't leave yt comments lol but yall are my faves hugs to you both
