Yup, and it's all because Ainz is watching him remotely with magic to learn how to be a better ruler but Jircniv can subtly sense it like someone is watching him over his shoulder and it's slowly driving him insane.

By the way we already know who brainwashed Shaltear: If you notice near the end of 1st season a group of people ("Black Scripture" confirmed in this episode) stood against Shaltear in her "berserk" mode, at that confrontation she killed 2-3 enemies(2 enemies were killed instantly, and the third was wounded, but in this episode they confirmed her death). She was brainwashed by world item they had but as they retreated we don't know the full effects of that world item

The world item that controlled shall tear is called " downfall of castle and country"..it is a single use very powerful world item falling into the top 20 category even among the total of 200 world items..it was wielded by kaire of the black scripture and is in the form of white robe with a golden dragon printed on it..during shall tears rampage they decided there was no other way to stop her than to resort to the world item..but , in the ensuing fight, before the user could issue a command to her , shall tears Lance pierced her body..which is why you just see her standing still in the end of the first season..as the spell was not completes..but if their is hostile approach she d get into the battle mode...

It’s funny because in the light novel it’s mentioned that Jircniv is paranoid that he is being spied on by ainz to learn his plans. It’s revealed that ainz does watch him, not to spy, but to study how a king should act

The world item user was killed by Shalltear before the item took its full effect. And as it is a mindcontrol item it needs the caster to stay alive for it to properly work, but as we can see that Shalltear killed her so that's why Shalltear was just standing there waiting for someone to attack her because the one that was supposed to control her was dead.

@@princeyoshiro2749 no, the mind control worked it is just the caster got incapacitated at the same time so they were unable to issue any command. Which is why shalltear was just standing there doing nothing until attacked.

@@Panthorius from what i understand, having a world item in your possession affords you protection against other world items. It is why in season 1 he gave mare and aura world items when he went out to combat shalltear.

@@shawnmelchortrondillo7837 different peps, there is several other players that had been exist before, here is what currently known: - 6 great gods, the slane theocracy gods (600 year ago) - 8 greed kings (500 years ago) - mysterious player killed by deep darkness dragon lord (300 years ago) - 2 of the 12 heroes (200 years ago) - minotaur sage (200 years ago) - ainz owl gown (present) - glittering angel, neko-nyan (unknown, appeared in isekai quartet movie, probably 1 of the 6 great gods) platinum dragon lord mention about "power that shake the world every 100 years", so there is also a possibility there are other players summoned at 400 years and 100 years ago, but as of their knowledge they only know last from 200 years ago which is the 12 heroes leader.

The Emperor and the cardinals of the Theocracy are justified in their actions here, in order to guarantee the survival of their countries they have to desperately try to create a countermeasure against Ainz, from their point of view he can just decide to destroy them overnight just because after all. As viewers we can see the whole picture but for those who live in the NW things certainly look desperate and is normal to feel a little bad por them.

From the perspective we as the viewers have seen they are also justified in being desperate, even if it wasn't his initial plan Ainz made no attempt to deny that his plan is world domination when it was discussed, and he allows subordinates like demiurge to do whatever they want with humans, and Ainz has already shown (to both the viewers and the characters) that he can kill 100000 people and feel nothing about it.

the right kind of world item would work against ainz, but ainz has a greater knowledge of and access to a wide variety of such weapons as well as experience dealing with them to some degree from when it was a game in yagdrisil. Also even if they had a world item that would be effective against ainz getting the oppertunity to use it directly against him would be difficult. also that sword that gazalf had is capable of killing ainz although I do not know if that sword is a world item or not, if it is not then that just shows that there is more than just world items that are a threat to ains. But all that said the biggest problem is the level and experience gap, even with the right items one would be fighting at a massive disadvantage unless they can at least get close enough to lvl 100 to not be completely disregarded in a fight.

I know I'm 3days late. It's not a spoiler but Shalltear killed her manipulator the moment she got hit by it. If you rewatch the S1, Shalltear used a skill that pierced 3 people in an instant and kill the 2 of them. Later on the manipulator died due to severe injury she got. Basically, Ainz looking a dead person because Shalltear has no knowledge that she killed it already.

I'm not so sure about that... Spoilers... ... ... ... ... ... The Platinum Dragon Lord has killed players before, and just looking at the numbers he has the power to defeat Ainz in 1v1. There are other Dragons of a similar level of power that could also pose a threat to level 100 characters, like Cure Elim. The Battle Maids could certainly take control of all human territory (the God-kin could cause some trouble to 1 or 2 maids, but would almost certainly lose to all of them working together), but going up against the world as a whole... I don't think so, they'd run into one of these dragons sooner or later.

wait PDM puppet armor is LV 70 and i think the real body is around LV 85-90 I don't think that PDM have same level of floor guardian. And also the one who fight PDM is Pandora who change and act as ainz to get more information. Correct if me if im wrong Bcause its already so Long i don't read the novel And also why i said battle maid is enough to control the world Is because if they fight Together I think battle maid have same level as floor guardian

​@@ninonino5480 I don't know the levels of PDL, and yes he was fighting Pandora's Actor in an effort to gather intel. But the way I was reading it, PDL would be a legitimate threat if he didn't make one vital mistake - assuming that he came out of that battle as the victor, and that "Ainz" was of no threat to him. I could be wrong there. Cure Elim on the other hand I recall being stated to be in the low 90's, but despite that he is still stronger than Ainz because dragon race levels are just kind of OP that way. I assume it's the same for PDL's true body. While we don't know if Cure Elim is alive and kicking (or undead and kicking?) in the main story line, since he only appeared in the Evil Eye bonus volume, it's still an example of the sorts of threats that are scattered out in the world. I'd agree on the battle maids together being roughly on par with a guardian, I'd say a bit weaker but roughly similar. They also have a weakness that the other guardians don't - an opponent can take them out piece by piece, and each one down drastically lowers their effectiveness as a team.
