Ran, Senya, Lili build at 10:34 is legit. I ran a build similar to it at the start of the season and got a half dozen green shields out of it. It also helps players who cannot get those 300+ speed Rans. Good def selection Vik, keep them up :)

With Lilias "new" EE's, I'm an even bigger advocate of RSL defs for anyone. It will farm green shields cause you can literally never know what someone's RSL is on since there's so many crazy combinations and speed tunings. I FARMED many green shields in top 2k capt tower, and now still get quite a lot from top 200 guilds as a smol tower using RSL def. The gear for the cook I want to do won't drop, so atm I'm doing Damage 296 Ran(R&L)>Damage Lilias(brieg artifact & s2 EE)>ER Senya with GAB. Used to run eff slow ran to go after lilias with alabastron and that got just as many wins.

What would you recommend for main fort defence teams? As these are basically all small tower trap teams they wouldn't work after being scouted. Good vid tho, love the educational content

Yeah this season has been pretty rough on defense wins for me. The last 3 GW I've gotten maybe 6-8 green shields combined. Normally as a fort, I could net 4-6 in 1 GW on average but not this season.

I think they need to give us more control over what our AI defenses do. Like skill order and element priorities. Or at least do that at the unit level so if for example any time I set someone to auto.

currently my defense has Ran, apoc ravi and senya in the first team (I already used fire lilias in place of Aravi but I noticed that this team lost less with Aravi) and in the second team is zio, ae-Karina and alencia that until they win a lot in defense, do you think these teams are good? I don't have broman, candy or amid to use them in defense but I do have lulucar and ayufine, should I change any of the defenses for these characters or keep the teams as they are? I'm not from a competitive guild and I gain a lot of MVPs due to defense but I always wonder if there's a better team to put on defense or not

I think AYufine is a defense unit that you absolutely have to abuse. This forces people to make bad decisions like speed gain (due to her S2) or bulk checking Doris (as a light bait) or worrying about elbris, Holy sac, pov - she's so versatile on defense. Really a nightmare to play against. I would recommend her to replace your a.ravi probably. You could try lulucar over Zio but I'm not sure how big of a difference it'd make unless you have a really high effectiveness lulucar + soul stealing artifact (EXID gadget).

@@vikchun I'll try Ayufine on defense. I have the artfact but my lulucar is 0 eff, she has a speed bulk build with 251 speed, 16500 hp 1400 def and 225 er, should I replace her with Zio or should I keep him? Thank you for the advice

How much attack does Senya need to not get oneshot by Straze? I have this crazy idea of building an aurius Senya because a lot of people use Straze to kill my USChoux. But if Senya has the higher hp, Shoux survives and the enemy is going to deal with Shoux for the rest of the match. For a 3rd unit, either Clilias or Lulucar maybe.

I believe straze needs to have 2000 attack more than the unit targetted so you would need high atk + highest hp I would calc 4k atk + atk buff and find out the number and adjust your senya accordingly

@@vikchun I think using Clilias on warhorn and her S team imprint will guarantee my Senya to not get one shot. I moved some gears and I was able to get my Senya 2 points higher HP than my Shoux and have 4k attack too.

I'm in a upper middle guild and my gear is pretty solid but my defense never gets attacked pain

​@@chicopendejo That's not how speed rng works. It isn't a static value like 11 speed. But at lower speeds (less than 220), a unit will never cut another unit that's 11 speed higher than them without external cr push. In general, (speed of the follow up unit) < (0.95*speed of opener) for it to never cut in front. So for the case you mentioned, if you have a 316 Ran, you need your follow up to be 300 speed or lower to make sure it'll never cut your Ran. So in this case this case the value is not 11 but 16.

@@chicopendejo Well, the units on the team he mentioned are all under 200 speed, so a 11 speed difference b/w them is more than enough to make sure they don't cut the one above them. He probably mentioned the number 11 just as safe value for lower speed units so that he won't have to go off topic and explain how speed rng works.
