We just saw them in person in Branson. Their music will make your bones tremble with joy. I was inspired to take my sweet wife to see the them as part of our 55th wedding anniversary celebration. They sang “ still the one” just for us! I considered it one of the most special moments in our lives. Thank you!

I'd love to see The Petersens record another video for this song to include all the cool guitar licks and solos that are missing from this live version. I wonder if he wasn't feeling well when they recorded this. Don't get me wrong, they're great live, but the album version of this song is even better.

Emmett, you mean? If so, I don't think he joined the band until 2018 possibly.

There is no doubt the family has talent (exception the young one who looks challenged)....nice sound but I am 100% positive the younger one knows but is afraid to stand up to the talent in the family........ One stroke Jill, up and down....forced melodies that make her look painfully uncomfortable. Yes I know I will get hate mail....but the truth is the truth as it is in every family. Brothers and I have been playing for years....the youngest was better suited for a business degree and did great. To this day he can't tuna fish let alone a guitar; but he can run a business.

The truth is she is incredibly talented. Her singing on "NO ROOTS" has gone absolutely viral.....closing in on 1 Million views soon. Her mandolin playing is also exceptional as seen on the song "Gentle on My Mind".......and she sings this song like no other. The girl could dance like no other from a very young age as well. The truth is the truth.

You are completely wrong about the young lady's talent. Obviously, you have not seen the family's other videos. She is extremely talented. I suggest you find their performance of "Wade in the Water" on KOLR10 News KZread channel. Then come back and remove your grossly inaccurate post. Your comment is proof that some people should read and listen more......and comment less.........

This is an older video, she's come quite a ways, but yes it's clear she is not as developed on the mandolin as her sister's on their instruments, although I believe all of the family members play a multitude of instruments.
