The reason is: larger area. In 501 all of the Bulls eye is 50 points. so it is easier to hit the bull than the triple 20 and you only lose 10 points per dart.
Let's have more players like her on the TV !
Does the girl think it's like archery and have to get as close to the bullseye everytime!?

Because the outer bull is also 50, so look at the size of the target for 50 compared to 60....play the percentage shot any time...

I think she'd be a bit better if she didn't hit herself in the face every time she takes a throw, speaking from personal experience, it's very off-putting.
I never understood why in electronic darts they only go for the Bull instead of the Triple 20 like in normal darts. Why???
