Yeah, I think with cops that can go either way (often depending on the culture in that particular police department). PD's in big cities, where they usually have a strong union, and brutality/corruption cases are more common, usually cops won't answer ANYTHING about themselves, without a union rep (basically similar role to a lawyer). But in the country, or smaller cities- places with a PD who DOESN'T have that culture of unionism, cops Tenn to trust other cops, and (for better or worse) seem to rely on the "brotherhood" of the force- They think that if it's serious enough that they need a lawyer, the other cop will TELL THEM. But otherwise, they often seem to NOT want to call a lawyer (til way too late), because that would be like admitting guilt. THEY would be the one going outside the "brotherhood", if they called a lawyer, and they think they're better off keeping it "in house". But there's a lot of this kind of interview, with cops, WITHOUT a lawyer (or shop rep)... You'd THINK they'd know better than that... But cops (often) have a weird psychology, all their own

When I was a kid, a cop sexually harassed me regularly. He stopped when I told him off in public when I was 16. When I talk about it, I often get one of two reactions: being called a liar, or being told that the person I am talking to or someone they love is a victim of sexual abuse by a cop. It feels like half of people don't believe this happens, and the other half KNOW it happens a LOT.

I hate telling people about my prior sexual abuse precisely because they are often dismissive. Of course the perpetrator, one of my family members, won't admit to what he did to me - but I remember. It was a surprise to l me when I realized that other people would default to not believing me. It took me years to be able to talk about it, which was years after I got old enough to finallh realize that it was wrong. To be dismissed then was so painful it only compounded the original pain. I think that the people refusing to believe are doing so because it's easier than admitting that the world is a dangerous place that might hurt them too. I just wanted to share this and say that I am empathic to your experiences. I believe you.

Idk why parents still force the idea that police are the good guys. Especially after everything that has been exposed fairly recently. My children are taught that police, teachers, principals, doctors, nurses, other adults or anyone in a position of authority over them are just people. They can be good or bad like anyone else and shouldn't be automatically trusted just because they hold some kind of power. I'm teaching them to trust their instincts. Pay close attention to the intent of what these people might want or are trying to appear to be. I'm doing the best I can to help them understand the concept of questioning authority. Even my own authority over them as a mother. Our children are smarter and much more intuitive than we give them credit for. I hope they are truly soaking it in. I also LOATHE when some of them try to tell it like a story in which they hide details purposefully to make some kind of huge, sensational twist. I'm specifically thinking about a youtuber who covered a story about a young guy named Ryan Waller who was shot in a home invasion that killed his girlfriend. The police thought he did it and broke his jaw when arresting him since he literally had bullets in his head and couldn't react fast enough to break the fall when they threw him to the ground. This youtuber told the story hiding the fact that the boy was an innocent victim to throw viewers off the trail. I felt so gross and manipulated. He also literally got details wrong, such as saying that the kid was shot 3 days earlier instead of the night before. Which is important because the police were the ones to change the date so that they wouldn't be held liable for aggressively interrogating Ryan instead of getting him medical attention during the crucial hours after he was shot. Hours in which he suffered heavy brain damage. He ended up "saved" in the short term, but years later had a fatal seizure that was a direct result of the brain damage. And this fucking youtuber had me thinking he was a murderer at first, in such a heartbreaking story. If you're interested and haven't heard about this case before, I highly suggest the video titled "Searching For Justice: The Ryan Waller Story" by the account This Is MONSTERS. They even sit down with Ryan's dad. I haven't seen if dreading has a video on it or not.

2022 has proven that dreading is the top of this genre of KZread. JCS will always be held in a certain regard because of what it started but of all those JCS inspired, dreading is on top when it comes to quality, narration, (and most importantly to me) frequency of uploads. I would really like to know if he was predating on children before March 2020. His wife would have been about 3-4 months pregnant. Morning sickness can put a woman off doing stuff. Male entitlement contributed to his decisions to offend. Also, he could have answered the intimate marital questions more sensitively concerning her (and he shouldn't have said a word without a lawyer anyway, what a dumbass.) He could have said "I'd rather not say anything about my wife and I in the bedroom." But he spoke and now there is the potential for members of the public to have a mental image of the activity he disclosed, without her consent, or any need to disclose it. That 3 minute intro is incredible. I've been in that exact position and because I didn't realized I was deceived. But your feelings and intuition always lead you to the correct conclusion. I felt gaslighted and manipulated, although I was convinced that the opportunity I've accepted was indeed good for me and a step up. Knowing my own value, dedication and loyalty, I figured it will just take a little longer to get where I deserve to be (as far as tile and pay). Once i figured out that I'm going nowhere for years on end, and I'm too tired to even look for something better suited, I left. But it was hard to get my health back and erase the built up resentment accumulated. It takes a lot to trust people now.

It took me years to be able to talk about it, which was years after I got old enough to finallh realize that it was wrong. To be dismissed then was so painful it only compounded the original pain. Nothing worse than corrupt, perverted cops, doctors, priests etc. From a young age we’re taught to respect & listen to these people, & that they’re there to help & protect us. Using that trust & authority against anyone is appalling, but using it against children is as bad as it gets.

The internet is a dangerous place for naive and innocent kids and we can't mince words or dance around uncomfortable discussions. Good luck out there parents. We're the first generation of parents to face this kind of threat.

He abused her (and the soon to be born child) in so many ways. I hope she was smart enough to cut all ties, immediately.

You think he planned his career around this? Meaning he was a predator and actually decided being a cop would get him easy access to his drug of choice? I’m not disputing, just interested in your thoughts on it.
How are children so young on a social apo and how are they searchable? Very disturbing.
I love how she's talking to him like he's still going to have a life or future when she's done with him. 😂😂
When he said he has a new wife and baby on the way my heart sank, could you imagine being married to this monster and pregnant with his first child? That poor woman.
I'm sorry, but if someone appeared to have leaked something from me, I wouldn't be sitting there with my arms crossed, I'd be asking questions, and freaking out Thanks for this early vid post btw, I'm loving the patreon!

Those kind of people are usually unaware of their wrongdoings. They know it’s wrong, but they don’t understand why it’s wrong because they lack empathy. He’s probably sitting there with the confidence that he hadn’t done anything wrong and the police had no evidences.
The first interrogator did a flawless job of putting him at ease when his suspicions would be raised. Each time she subdued him with complements to ensure him that he was essentially not in any legal trouble and that it was just a casual conversation. Brava!!
I am a 64/ yr old single , retired woman who lives in a gated Luxury Living apartment complex that employs/ houses a Courtesy Police Officer- who is a City Policeman, as well. I was being stalked by a nearby resident ( same complex) and was also aware of a young female single mother who had reported being stalked by the same man. Both of us reported these incidents to the Courtesy Police officer and the main office of apartment complex. We were both told by The Courtesy Policeman “ there was nothing to worry about- he was not a threat, but to get a restraining order.” This young female relocated ( had only been there 1/ mon) These allegations we NOT taken seriously by This policeman and The Office manager. These situations need to be ADDRESSED, TAKEN SERIOUSLY and followed up by our Law Enforcement - who WE pay for

You are channeling the JCS writing and narration style pretty effectively. Good work..

What is it with this whole "jcs" fan boy phenomenon? That channel only had roughly 7 videos I think it was, yes they were decent videos especially for the time but the way people talk you'd think the channel was around for years uploading regularly, heck I bet a lot of said "fanboys" wasn't even around watching at the time but for some reason have jumped on the bandwagon, actually just by looking at jcs view count shows this is true. The way she casually asked what his jersey number was, then put it together with his screen name was pure genius.
Being a cop and not knowing your own rights is so indicative of the bullshit they put others through.
I love how clear the audio & video is in this interrogation. Also, she was so smooth in her questioning 👍

@@FrancisMasaba1 KZread doesn’t like to monetize videos that have certain subjects in them, so he couldn’t make money off it to sustain himself / get a reward for all of his efforts, and KZread just straight up took down a lot of his videos as well so his channel could’ve been deleted. It wasn’t really fair and it made KZread not worth it to him so sadly he left and deleted a lot of his videos before he did as well (edited for spelling, my bad)
