The way to cleanly pack bearings is use a plastic bag with grease in it. Do the squeezing on the clean outside. The bag doesn't matter could be Walmart dollar general ziplock or the bag your ice came in

Professionals use a bearing packer soooooooo much easier and you don’t get grease all over your hands and by hand takes longer.
