When I first heard this song off of Eric Escalante's latest album, Looking Back (2021), I sent him a message right away asking for the instrumental guitar track. I am a fan of Eric's mastery over lyrical storytelling and accompaniment with his acoustic guitar. My rendition features jazz trumpeter, and a personal favourite human being, Rudy Ray Kwaku. We recorded the track in Studio C at the Departure Lounge in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
