This was my uncles favorite song. We lost him to suicide about 10 years ago, but it still hurts. This song always seems to play when my family is hurting the most or need help. He is always helping us out in heaven. Marty, this couldn’t have come at a better time. Thank you🙏

Unreal tuning. I’ve messed around with alternative tunings but this one from Johnny wins the prize for craziest tuning to write the best song. We actually toured with the Goos in 1999 (Fastball opened) and they were playing this song because it had just come out. Magic every night

Marty, when you moved onto mostly teaching songs, I was kinda disappointed that there won't be as much technique and other nerdy content. But recently I found that this is really gold! Learning songs of all levels, it expands the technical AND musical knowledge. Really cool what you're doing here!

There are so many songs I want to learn but they're all electric guitar. But if you ever get time, CKY is one of my fav bands it would be cool to learn one of their tunes on acoustic. Attached at the hip is one of my fav songs.

Great instruction. I played around with this tuning and I tuned everything to D. Yes, every string a D. So when playing the verse which is the E string open, 3rd fret, 5th Fret, Open, 10 feet, 8th fret, if all strings are tuned to D, play the verse on the A string as Open, 2nd fret, 5th, 9th, 7th and back to 5th fret. Repeat for verse. I did this cause the E tuned down to a B was way too low for my singer so we just changed it this way.
