I hated the Goo Goo Dolls growing up when I thought rap was music. Now that Im a husband and a father I absolutely love them. It sounds weird but I enjoy lifting weights to their music. It gets me so emotional, grateful, and full of love for my family that the discomfort of exercise is nothing to me. Gives me super strength

Even at 67 this is my kind of music. Words are so good.

This song played right when my mom got in the car after my grandmother passed away. February 5 2017 her birthday was the day before. This song is the best

I'm glad they don't get more widely known as much as others. The best way to get into an artist is to stumble upon their music and make it grow in you rather than jumping on the bandwagon. That's the difference between heartfelt fans and the norm. Despite not being like others, they have and always will be recognized for their unique sound.

caltech25, It's better this way. The Goo Goo Dolls belong to us. Thank God they didn't follow the route of The Beatles; get so BIG they had to explode and fall apart after 10 years in the limelight. They're still here and so are we.

If they got more airplay, the other extreme might occur - people beaten into submission by elevator music and crap covers for commercials etc. Why not just appreciate it. They wouldn't be losing sleep over who isn't listening to them

Totally agree. They’re an awesome band beyond a Boy Named Goo and Dizzy up the Girl. Rediscovering them now 23 years after my first listen and all their music is phenomenal. Love how they’ve evolved their sound but their lyrics remain as deep and heartfelt as always

this album was released in 2016... why is it I'm just hearing this song now? I love this song!!!

My mom has been fighting stage 4 ovarian cancer for 7 years! It's been a long road for myself, siblings and especially my mom. It seems like shes been fighting so hard to see her grandchildren that are being welcomed into this crazy world. The past year has been the worst she has lost her sense of humor and she has become very depressed. I know her fight is something I could never do myself so I look at life threw her struggle and do my best to make what could be her last memories something she can find comfort in. The other night we were all having a moment with games and pop corn at her house and I had a random music spotify playlist on and this song came on and she looked at us all like this is the song that will play when I'm not here. I instantly fell in love with this and its all I've played for the past week now. 🙏✌

That instrument played throughout, mostly leading up to the chorus when it gets quiet, I can't tell what it is, but it's hypnotizing. I'm so relaxed

Beautiful music has a way of carrying us through so many more struggles then medication or conventional therapy ever could. This is the biggest reason I am a life long fan of this band, especially John Rzeznik and his lyrics. For some reason they always seem to touch every single soft spot in my soul and actually understands me when no one else has.I actually wrote them a letter once but chickened out giving it to them at a meet and greet. I think it's one thing to have a legacy of being famous for making music but creating music that touches the souls of your fans and literally saves their life is an honorable thing. Not many people have the ability to do that and I thank god for this band still being around. Thanks guys, even if you never see this message I hope everyone realizes how beautiful this song is.

Heard of the band, but can't say I really knew any of their music. I was in an office depot the other day and this song came on overhead. It was all I could do to keep my eyes dry and avoid embarrassing myself. This song--the words, the music, the voice--is absolutely beautiful! I can't even begin to explain how I didn't know of it before a couple of days ago. Thank you for publishing it. I just ordered the cd--and for the record, this song just made it on to my "Favorite Songs" list.

This is written from John Rzeznik's heart! You just hear on the sound and when you look at the lyrics, that this is a realy meant song. In the beginning I didn't know what I was thinking of the album: 'Boxes'. I realy missed their old sound, but when I listen the second time to this, I feel so different then the first time hearing it! I realy can hear 'the Goo Goo Dolls'-sound in it, but then just a little bit different. I appriciate what the Goo Goo Dolls do and I think they are an amazing band. I love their older stuff, but also this new stuff is incredible! Keep rocking! I believe in what you guys do!
