As old Houston Phi Slama Jama fan, I watched that last second shot against NC State for the last 37 years every time March Madness starts. UCLA will unfortunately be part of the highlight reel now. I was hoping for redemption this year but Baylor was too good. Should be a great game Monday.

One of those rare games where both teams were just “on”. There was never a stretch of bad pay or bad coaching. Whoever lost the game didn’t “lose” but just ran out of time before they could “win”. Everything was at a high level and whoever had the ball last was gonna win it.

This game will go down as one of the best college basketball games in NCAA Tournament history! Both teams played amazing basketball. UCLA was peaking as a team and brought it all to the game - mad props and respect to that team. Gonzaga showed the grit, determination, and drive, to get the win.

It's a shame they couldn't win the whole tournament. I love cinderella run teams who shut down the skeptics and doubters.

I would usually be very mad and Very angry as a UCLA fan right now but instead I feel proud what I saw on that court was nothing like I have ever seen a UCLA team do. You guys went from losing Chris Smith and Jalen hill, losing 4 in a row to end the season, to the first four, then the final 4 you guys beat two top 5 teams in the nation you went to overtime with the number 1 team in the nation Gonzaga. You UCLA showed what the definition of a team is you improved and you learned and you guys have inspired me it might’ve not ended up our way but wow you guys were just awesome to watch I have been a UCLA fan my whole life and I have never seen a UCLA basketball team like this. And you got to the final 4 with a coach who’s it’s his second year at UCLA, great job Mick Cronin you and your UCLA team has earned a large amount of respect. This matchup is getting revisited in this year's Sweet 16 and I couldn't be happier. This time it will be in front of a full crowd!

What an amazing memory. My dad got me into March Madness as a kid. He hadn’t watched a single game this year. I had went home to visit him that day and we put on this game. Was so happy the one game we got to watch together was an alltime classic.

Hats off to the Bulldogs. As a UCLA fan I wish them the best next game. They deserve to join the ranks of programs with undefeated seasons after tonight's performance... They are a great team!

@@otaviofrn_adv No doubt. He took a team from the WCC in a small town in Washington State and turned them into a top 5 team every year, with multiple NBA players . Plus, they are on track to potentially have the #1 recruiting class in the nation. Mark Few and Gonzaga get undeterred every single year. I am not a Gonzaga fan, I am a Cal Berkeley fan... but I respect the greatness that is Mark Few and what he has done for a small conference team like Gonzaga. Hopefully, when Mark Few eventually retires, Gonzaga can stay on top. I like a team like Gonzaga, the underdog that has achieved remarkable things. I will definitely root for Gonzaga on Monday to finally get Mark Few a title.

Bruin fan but this was total win/win. One of the greatest games ever and they played their heart out. If they had to lose, at least it's to a class program and even classier coach. I'll be rooting as hard for the Zags to make history and finally get that title, as if UCLA had made the final.

Revisiting this game almost a year later and I think it's the best CBB game ever. The shotmaking in this game is superhuman. End to end tight play and of course... The shot to remember it by.

WOW .. I fell asleep before the game and wake up to this !! Im an Illini alum ..but we got bounced early so I tossed my support behind the Zags ..however UCLA coming from a first four to a final 4 started peaking my interest .. I feel so bad for the Bruins and their fans but they should be extremely proud of what they've done !!!!! I think we are looking at the 2021 National Champs in Gonzaga ... What a game !!!

Leaving this comment here for future viewers and those that come back to watch this years down the road. As a USC fan, kudos to UCLA for putting up such a fight. Both teams deserved to win here tonight, unfortunately, only 1 team can take it. Although you're supposed to be our rival school, a part of me wanted to see you succeed. Reminds me of a sibling rivalry, a competitive nature amongst ourselves but when it's against an outsider we tend to support each other. USC got blown out by gonzaga, glad UCLA gave em a run. Gonzaga, the killer of LA teams.

@@philliprahman8622 the NBA regular season is a joke. 1) 82 games most years (72 this year because of late start/covid/etc.) and the maximum implication of losing any one game or like even 20+ games(assuming you're on a stacked team) is a single extra home game in your best of 7 series. 2) Having an average of 3 stacked teams or so that have any shot at winning a championship is really bad. Yes, some years there's more, some less...but it makes for a very boring regular season and often times an even "boringer" post-season. This is in part because it's infinitely harder for any underdog to win 4 out of 7 games against a superior team compared to just winning one. 3) Because of the stacked team difference you get these load management situations especially in the regular season. Neither type is great either you have your superstar players sitting some games OR even worse you have your superstars essentially giving slightly less on the offensive end(maybe 80%-90%) and like a total of 20% or less on the defensive end. You guys know the guys I'm talking about. I'm not going to call out any one superstar but there's a large majority of them that play A LOT of regular season games like this. 4) The bottom 3rd of the teams or so are actually incentivized to lose games. If your team can't make the playoffs anyway why wouldn't you want to improve your lottery pick?

In the NBA, sure there's still the concept of an upset, but you can never parallel the situation of a mid major upsetting a ranked power 5 team, of a cinderella making a run to the final four, or the fact that all of the players' years are numbered at their school (except for Perry Ellis and Aaron Craft). Also, there are 350 NCAA teams. NBA playoffs are usually pretty good, but I think if you're looking for the most exciting regular season basketball overall, college would beat NBA. Not in every game, obviously, but there are classic NCAA regular season games I still think about fondly. How many regular season NBA games does the average fan remember and think "that was a great game"?

BOTH teams played at such a high level. I mean, the Zags played like the Zags, but UCLA matched them shot for shot. Juzang probably put himself in the first half of the first round based on this tourney alone. What a game!

10:59 I am near 80 years old. Suggs' block and pass is one of the greatest individual plays I have seen in the history of college basketball. Forget the game winning shot. This play was just unreal. To block the shot from behind, staying in bounds and tossing the perfect, Magic Johnson/Oscar Robertson like bounce pass.....unreal. That was truly as special play.

KU vs Memphis 2008 Duke vs Butler 2010 Villanova vs UNC 2016 Add Gonzaga vs UCLA 2021 to the list of great Final 4 games from the last 20 years. Wow.

I went to Memphis from 2003-2008. We will never forget Chalmers 3 point shot nor our missed free throws.

This game from tip to finish was far better than those other games. With UNC vs Nova being the exception. This was still a better game overall though. This is up there with Kentucky vs Duke in 1992

Shoutout to Johny Juzang. He definitely played himself to the NBA draft.

I was watching it from a bar in New York and I couldn't help shouting and clapping for that last basket, but what a game!

This was definitely worth watching. Was highly satisfied no matter who won it. What a amazing game!!!

I've been watching college basketball for almost 40 years and this has to be one of the greatest. These young men and coaches reminded us what real bball loos like.

It's not hyperbole or anything, that was arguably the most well played college basketball game ive seen in 25-30 years of watching considering it was a final 4 game. the last shot almost cheapens it in some ways but makes it memorable for all time like it deserves to be

Jeez what a game I was screaming when UCLA made that shot but started crying when Suggs hit that

One of the greatest battles in NCAA history. UCLA was ferocious. Gonzaga stood toe to toe and landed the final punch.

I did not want either team to lose. What a beautiful game and it will be remembered as a touchstone of the tourney for all time. This is why March Madness is the greatest sporting event ever.

Is no one going to talk about timme? Dudes a beast in the paint. Hats off to UCLA!

As a UCLA fan, I am so amazed at how well UCLA played against the best team in the nation. Hats off to Juzang! And hats off to Suggs! That shot was what makes March Madness wonderful! I hope the Baylor - Zags game is just as good.

Great run by UCLA. That was the best college basketball game I've watched. Definitely the best I've witnessed since Kentucky vs. Duke in the '92 Elite Eight.

What a Game!!!!! The Bruins battled, but tonight Gonzaga came out on top. Both teams should be proud of the exhibition they put on tonight! One for the ages.

This game was so good. Every player played their best game of the season. Everyone is rightfully talking about Suggs Juzang and Timme but impact of the other players around them cant be understated.

Sorry, I never watch college hoops except during March madness. Every game you watch... Kids just absolutely leaving everything on the court... Thank you student athletes.... For giving us a great tournament this year👍
