You don't have become famous to be a good person, you just have to be honest of your self and live carefully and also brave. Don't be a afraid to failure just moving on in full time in hard work living. GY is a great pictures of a living man. GY personality is so charming and lovable. If you just see him as him self, you will see a shining bright heart inside him. I love him not just about a famous man. But mostly because his personality. He's never used a musk to look perfect. Some scenes in coffee prince are just marvelous, I felt so many things when he struggles do to liking a “boy” and when he cried it just melted my heart. I'm inspired and have learned so much about life from a 13 minute interview of his i wish he did more interview I love people like him, people with whom we can talk for hours and never get bored His thoughts and ideas are beautiful

I hope all his answers are not scripted. Because to me the way he answered all the questions sounds very honest and it's all an smart answering

I think that his face alone and his over all demeanor somehow shows his beautiful mind and spirit. On top of that he is handsome and an awesome actor. Not to mention it makes my heart flutter and my stomach so tight when I hear his voice. Hands down when he sings Last Time and Fly me to the Moon! I pray for a miracle to meet him and hug him. Lol

I recently discovered Gong Yoo by watching Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. That is my first taste in Korean shows and now I'm a fan. Also by watching this interview, I noticed that he seems to be down to earth type of guy and shy; which is cool. Just be yourself.

A poignant reminder of our unfair world. It made me cry and angry at the same time. I like Gong Yoo because he is NOT vain. He chose his drama contracts carefully. The different genres suited him well. Coffee Prince was another good movie where he portrayed the emotions so well. Stellar acting skills. Happy 20th Anniversary. After viewing most of your interviews, I can say you are a good actor but a complicated person. It's terrible to miss u and not seeing you make movies or shows lately. Actors have to deal with fiction and non fiction characters. You always wanted to do films that create social awareness but fantasy films made you famous too. If fame is too much for you to handle then you have a reason not to be. As u said, u don't know how long you can hold as an actor. Over and over. If that makes you happy so be it. We will miss u until we will forget you. It aches my heart.

He cares for social issues and wants to use his name as actor to give good influence. But there's a case where he can't do anything even if he badly wants to. Here's an except from Gong Yoo's 2017 interview, I think he's talking about Yoon Eun Hye's plagiarism controversy here, in which she received a lot of hate from the public: I don’t like people who are hard on the weak people.
