Gone but not Forgotten

If you haven’t visited Lake Delton and Wisconsin Dells in a while you might be surprised at all of the changes. Each year it seems brings some new attraction in place of something else. On the flip side some attractions last for decades becoming part of the vacation memories for generations of family members.
Change is often inevitable, however, and even icons can become memories. Attractions like Fort Dells, Storybook Gardens, the Stand Rock Indian Ceremonial and most recently the Tommy Bartlett Ski, Sky and Stage Show are now gone but live on in the memory of millions of people from across the country.
These four former attractions are the subject of Gone but Not Forgotten, written and presented by Paul Wolter.

Wow, I hope you make more of these videos! So informative, and I love that you are preserving these old pastime family favorites from yesteryear. I particularly love that you show exactly where these attractions once stood. My family started taking us to the dells early/mid 80s, a time that seems to connect the old 50s/60s Dells tourist area to the beginning of the waterslide capital of the world era. I remember seeing the big billboards and pamphlets advertising these attractions that we never got to experience, however I do remember a couple trips to Fort Dells as a little one and several shows at Tommy Barlett

Thanks for doing this, I wonder how many bumper stickers Tommy would place in a summer.
