I think hisoka would bee very outclassed especially if it was full power all might before coercion. Hisoka is a smarter fighter but all might can destroy land scrapes with his fist too much of a difference in strength in my opinion.

Hisoka will never surpass or beat all might, yes hisoka is strong but not that strong, for instance the guy hisoka fought in the tournament was stronger then him it's just hisoka manipulated and out smarted him and saw through his weakness.

Overall, this was amazingly made. However it feels like Gon and Killua's personalities got flipped? Gon isn't the type to pine over fears of battles. He gets like... shakily excited when he gets to face a strong opponent.

Plus Deku has no fighting style at the point in the anime and barely has one in the manga. If he had done this fight not even will power would help him move his body. They got gon's personality wrong. Gon would never act like that. 'I will not be able to show my face.' I am scared.' For a competition, he would go fight cheerfully even if he would most likely lose.

There is a little more than 20 chapters that take place after the end of the anime. It's really good so far, and there was one of the best if not the best fight in the series in those chapters. The hiatus happened on a really annoying cliffhanger, but I can't wait to read more.

med that scene was great, sure it was totally out of character and stuff, but it was so heavy. If HxH 2011 started episode 1 with Kite saving him as a child, like the manga and the original HxH anime did, I think it would have made more sense. Kite was one of Gon's major inspirations for become a hunter, that isn't translated as well in HxH 2011. (I'm not calling HxH 2011 bad by any means, its one of my favourite animes) Also that scene did help build to that major event at the end of the arc, which was insanely intense.

ANON¹²³ Yeah, if anything that’s how Midoriya would act. Gon is like one of those generic shonen protagonist that won’t back down from a fight, no matter what. He doesn’t know when to retreat which is the opposite problem Killua has earlier in the show.

Well personally, I don't think boku no hero will reach levels of planet busters or some crazy shit like that, so they can keep it a bit realistic(although if they do, that's fine too), but since I haven't seen hxh, I have no say in how op those characters will get. But if they go around "planet-tier" then Gon would probably be stronger. Of course, it's not like I can see the future so its anyone's guess at this point

Brady yeah that didn't make much sense, it's a slicing attack after all. Deku should have had cuts all over the place, full cowling after all unlike nen, gives no defense. After all stain was easily able to cut Deku. This is one of the problems with these animated fights.

@@communicatieman, I understand why you think that, but why TF would Midoriya kill Gon? Has he even killed someone before? plus Hisoka would NEVER underestimate Gon like that. Even if Midoriya was even close to being able to kill gon, he was not required to in order to win. All he needed to do was defeat him, which Hisoka wouldn't give a **** if he did. It is also a matter of pride that hisoka would NEVER EVER do that. Edit: lol now I feel stupid for replying to a 7 month old comment

Deku's full cowl is more than enough to keep up with Gon speed, and Deku Shoot style is somewhat like this in the manga.

yea but once he hits all mights level where he masters it and can go 1000% plus ultra and shit and cause it to rain from changing the pressure with his punches, if thats how he gets at the end of the series then he will severly outclass gon in strength and probably speed.

I agree, 1. Gon could enhance his body if he thought it was necessary to survive 2. Midorya somehow didn't get hurt while using ONE FOR ALL, not even shoot style 3. Janken Rock would obliterate him, Midorya may have all the offense, but it is never stated that one for all gives him above human defense (but he would be CLOSE to peak human level, same for gon).

I really love this fight, not just because it's outstandingly well animated, but also because it has a story, it's like an episode of a crossover or something. Really neat

+Federico Barreri how so? Other than both of them having a nasty personality I don't see much of a connection. Doflamingo and Hisoka are both Jokers (literally), they both have string-based powers and like to toy around with their opponents. I see it as a perfect fit.

worldthroughabucket Yes, Hisoka "toy" with his opponents, but less literally than what Doflamingo does. Neferpitou also controls like a puppet his enemies, and also have a similar personality to Doflamingo

Neither of this series are finish, we don't know the maximun potential of neither character.

Gon has been scared to fight Hisoka, in the past, and he literally says it. However, he also said he likes the fear that come from fighting strong opponents. He says this to Kurapika after the second stage of the hunter exam.

I didn't understand Nen the first time I watched this Melee because I hadn't watched H×H. Now that I've watched it and understand the principles of Nen, the applications of Nen and the fight itself becomes all the more exciting.

Why are people constantly mentioning Gon’s adult form. He can only use it under *extreme* emotional stress. It’s not like a trump card he can whip out when he’s in a pinch. If he uses it, there’s no going back. He’s fucked afterwards. Midoriya won’t be able to push him that far for gon to even try and use his adult form.

S Q because they want to bring up an OP point to prove that the other awoken skills the 2nd fighter has is nothing compared to that of the more poweful 1st awokened skill fighter , which in defense is a good point but has no logic to be brought up.

I didn't bother to watch the vid, I just wanted to point out that midoriya's quirk has no special feature besides borrowing the strength of the previous wielders of the borrowed quirk. Gon on the other hand was already a superhuman before he even got nen. All in all, I just want to say that if Midoriya somehow wins this fight then it is complete utter bullcrap.

Little Destiny Hisoka is the complete opposite of that, he wants gon to succeed on his own. That’s why the whole tag #44 thing happened. He wouldn’t rig a fight to help gon. He ruthlessly beat gon in the heavens fight as well

Awesome

Loved the positive energy coming from these two fighters, especially the sportsmanship. Though with how the story progressed, Midoriya is way stronger than he ever was before, let alone learning more fighting styles and tricks with his quirk. Maybe in a few more years for both manga, these two should have a rematch.

I hate all the points in the comments. Gon has more combat skills and more ways to utilise his abilities however even taking Gon's adult form into consideration Deku's max power punch is still extremely strong. It's like a skilled veteran vs a op noob.

Fredrick Butts Gon can even take on a Sick all might. While all might may be faster, even Gon would be able to sense where all might will be coming from using En. Gon has been able to dodge an opponent that has been shown to be faster than all might. Deku even at 100% can’t take on Gon.
