It got nerfed. Smash 4 it went through shield. Imagine it doing that in Ultimate. Light and Tilde would be eating the competition.

Tbh he got lucky with the different upsets but still having the stamina to go this far and to take one game from spargo is crazy, even more if we consider that he does not do a ton of tournaments

I doubt Tilde will ever see this but if you do i would watch this set and see how often your down b gets you punished vs how little it did when it connects. I think its worth using a few times so they have to think about it as an area denial but it looks so risky to use in this match up i would really really be careful. Even as a safe edgeguard poke i think you are better off pressuring with laser or bairs.

At 12:56, I have never seen anyone be able to airdodge out of the falling nair like that... was Sparg0 doing some crazy SDI or something??

it's not actually a true combo, most of falco's extended combos aren't. usually the only option is to directional airdodge out...

who were the commentators for this?

Cloud has one of the five highest placement %'s and it's not just Sparg0. There are many Cloud mains getting wins late in bracket at big tournaments. Out of the five characters he is by far the easiest but that doesn't = most rewarding. Still a highly effective character though.

@@6eyedbirdI play mainly falco and I have always thought it’s absurd Tilde says it’s even. Feels very clearly cloud favored. Not by a ton but if the cloud plays safe I don’t see what falco does to get in. Just kind of has to wait for mistake

@@toxiclightning5303 Easy, opponents fear high level players which make them make mistakes something that Spargo easily punished without even a drop of sweat. Someone else mentioned in these comments he had an easy bracket before facing against Sonix. Anyways, Tilde like most " high level " Falcos spam way too much on neutral so do me the favour and set me a first to 10 with Tilde to prove my point.

@@brycenrushing4412 Grab, pivot grab, instant double jump down air, short hop down air to catch a potential roll or if there is a stock lead go for a timeout since Falco excels at running away. I'll rather wait however long it may take and get a juicy 0 to 60 and if there are within kill wait for a grab or down air opportunity.
