I feel so so sorry for Arthur he's tried his hardest to get fit for us and got a massive injury it's just sad

Phillips a really underrated defender, basically carried us a a few years ago

Hes a quality defender, just lacks that extra yard of pace, hes clearly good enough to play never lets us down

To be fair, it’s not THAT crazy. He is Defender who isn’t super tall, like Virg and Matip, and he hasn’t gotten that much play time over the years, due to injuries and not regularly being high enough quality to make the starting 11 consistently. But yeah… it’s still somewhat crazy :P

@@Whiskypapa It’s hardly related to his height imo, he’s taller than Sergio Ramos yet hasn’t scored in over 100 games for the club. Nat Phillips has had much less opportunities yet he’s scored. Joe just lacks intuition during set pieces and doesn’t make successful runs like Joel Matip for example.

Weakness of Philips is his speed and probably his passes. Other than this, i dont think he is worse than gomez. I think he need some match fitness and experience. Don't just drop him after 1-2 mistakes.

It always astonishes me to see how technically gifted even the premier league centre back are. Usually when you play with mates you put them in defence if they can’t kick a ball straight 😂

Never had a complaint about LFC content ever, best content for any club. Also no disrespect either to Melo, he has been unlucky BUT. I said it everywhere prior and post loan he is always injured. I wish Melo the best recovery and best career but I feel this is a bad video. He is not a Liverpool player as he is on loan, we have paid his wages and his recovery and i have no problem with that. Its not my money ( even though i pay ) but im just 1 opinion I cant get behind watching an awful investment and awful idea for this team. Ive made my opinions on the forums and elsewhere since the day before the loan was confirmed. I can get behind Melo's recovery his mental health his career e.t.c as none of this his fault. But this is too much, I'm sorry. If it was a real insight into Melo's struggles and injury, recovery etc. I can get behind that. This is not in good keeping im afraid.

Id add that im a huge Gomez fan, talented player who I believe will get to the top CB level at 25. And Nat who for me when he has played has looked as good as any CB in the air as any. Plus he is better on the ball than Maguire. You include an injured loanee with these 2 guys. Nat helped us get CL footy FFS. Only ever LFC vid that has annoyed me
