ArrigAutist this project was 1.4 billion over budget and to break even the price of oil had to stay at least 80 US dollars over the next 15 years.Good luck with that.

Norwegians were smart..they learned what happened to the Dutch and the arabs...when a country discovers oil they ignore all other parts of the economy,education,everything....all Norwegians own the oil and gas extracted..and the money is saved not spent...and that's the way it should be.

JAGE MIDU ENI norway is the owner of the owner/manager of the platform but the goliath field is co owend with statoil so either of the two companies will supply workpower to the platform, i hope to get a job ofshore next year when i am finished with my education, whould love to work on goliath, especialy since it is so close to home.
