Hello there!

It's just hard to believe that Cam Smith did struggle during the week, but ended up winning this championship. That's, I guess, the fun part of this game: all you need to do, is play well when it matters. The dude was clutch in the last 3 holes, where most of his fellow competitors were eliminated. Especially that birdie on the 17th, which gave him a 3 shots lead; then the bogey save on 18th. That was fun to watch.

Man, would love to take a dip and collect all those ProV1s.

I'd have to stick a snorkel in my bag trying to get around that course.

I don't know how Malnati does it, but he's had some shockers over his career on the PGA tour ..

I played in this wind a couple weeks ago at TPC Louisiana. The wind blows you around during your backswing and it makes it hard to even hit the ball much less hit it solidly. When its in the air the ball does some crazy things. I hit a drive that went less than 200 yards into the wind. The next hole was down wind, like 380 yards, and I drove it over the green. That course wasn't set up in tournament conditions and it still beat us up. And those shots in the rough are tough. I was a pro at Disney back when they had a tour event and I had the chance to play in cabbage like that. When I had 150 yards in the thick stuff I would consider laying up if there was water to clear. A few of us could break par at that course when it wasn't set up like that. When it was set up tough we were glad to keep it under 80. Also, we had a putting contest on 18 among all of the pros after the PGA tour guys and the crowds all left. The greens were rolling like an 18 on the stimpmeter (that sounds like exaggerating, but seriously the ball just wouldn't stop). We couldn't keep it on the green when putting from above the hole. Luke Donald won the event at like 17 under or something.

Kizzire's shank was so nasty they showed it twice.

I'd have to agree with you on this one. The PGA needs to implement a penalty of some sort, for these erratic shots. All these guys do, is practice, then compete. I go to work daily for 12, sometimes 14 hrs daily, head to golf course, stretch a little bit and head on to the first tee. But I never hit these kinds of shots. No wonder why I didn't see most of these guys all week long.
