you should list all equipment needed for this project.. but i dont get how this is $40?? the palm sander disk is how much?

Noticed you wiped the roof supports with the product. What is the prep required for painted areas? Just wash and dry?

Great question. We don't recommend applying this to painted parts so be very cautious of what you apply Trim Coat to. This application was very unique and we wanted to show the versatility of the coating. If you are going to experiment, make sure the substrate is extremely clean and do it on an area first that's not exposed in case the coating doesn't play well.
Looks good! I'm impressed! I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra, which has a one-stage paint job. The paint looks almost powdery. Do you think this could work as somewhat of a clearcoat on my paint?

I did the same thing with Krylon paint for plastic. Would not mind trying this.

Cerakote Trim Coat will last WAY longer than that product.
The Trizact paper alone can cost $40, and any one of my DA sanders were close to $200. I know you can get a cheap Harbor Freight sander, but this is still way over $40.
