I had the exact opposite experience with the Mizuno ball. Loved the tour and didn’t love the X. I guess I’ll try it again. Love the MTB Prime and didn’t like the X. Love the channel

I’m surprised you don’t mention the Callaway Superfast more often. You got average distance as I recall from the shortest iron, but really great distance with everything else! I don’t like the “sticky feel” of the cover in the Superfast color golf balls but the white golf ball feels like a regular golf ball, nice and smooth and slick. Recheck your Superfast review and give it some recognition!

Time for some Golf Ball Addict merch. I think hats (and I prefer white visors) are a good place to start. Nearly everyone wears a hat on the course and nearly everyone sees and probably reads other golfers hats. I would prefer to wear a visor promoting someone or something that’s the “little guy” or the “underdog” verses the huge corporations that are on most hats and visors. Think of all the conversations that would start with “what’s that Golf Ball Addict thing on your hat (or visor!).

Chrome Soft is an excellent ball. Stops well, great distance too. Not the straightest, not the best in the wind, but if I don't have a Z star or Q Star Tour, I woukd play chrome soft.

It's probably one that I wouldn't purchase if I was just an everyday golfer. I wouldn't want to pay the price. But I get a lot of them for free working at the golf course so I definitely think they're worth playing for that price lol

@GolfBallAddict I played all tha CS had to offer in TT. I gotva TT putter, so I really wanted it to work. One day, the windy season kicked in, and the hunt for a ball playing well in the wind was on. One day, went into Dicks looking for whatever, mostly just to try something new. Wanted something that would stop well, but was looking for a soft feel. Walked out with the exact opposite, Z Star XV, not even on sale or anything. Played REALLY WELL that day, and realized those balls were indestructible, stopped on the green, long enough on the green but no issues that day in the wind. Everyone else was struggling. Weeks went buy, but I still had plenty of ZV's, so I tried the Z Star. I loved the softer feel and still played great in the wind, and easy to work the ball. That became my gamer because it was softer. In time, I wanted to get a Z star DIVIDE (they weren't made yet) but they had the q star tours. I was gonna buy them, didn't, walked out. Came back in, said okay, and bought them. They say tgeir soft, great price, yadi yadi ya. Well, that ball played great in the wind, STRAIGHTER than Z Star, felt amazing everywhere, and shockingly stopped on the green.. just like a premium. I play that ball by choice, but keep so e Zstars many for the few holes that I need to shape something as the Q star tours are just too straight sometimes (First World Problems). I don't notice to much of a drop off in Distance and honestly because they are straighter many times, they go even longer. Look forward to your content. Best!!

I firmly believe at this point that any other t is just a gimmick. You would have to be an insanely accurate golfer to be able to see a two to three yard difference from left to right. Any average golfer isn't going to have a clue what the tea is doing for them.

Oh absolutely. However I wasn't really too surprised by it. Honestly if anything I was surprised that it just worked for my swing speed

A bowl of water, enough epsom salt to make the golf ball float, and a drop or two of Jet Dry dishwasher drying liquid mixed into the water to make the ball spin smoothly in the water. Then a Sharpie to mark what spot on the ball floats to the top, and repeat the float and spin test a bunch of times. Hopefully the same spot doesn’t go to the top each time, which would indicate an unbalanced ball with a heavier side and a lighter side.

Can you cut the balls and show the inside? Saw a video where a guy showed that the Srixon Z Star was really a 2 piece ball.

I don't have a tool to do that but I suppose I could find one. I've seen a couple of those videos, a lot of the time it's a used golf ball from a second hand market. I've never seen one come straight out of the box from srixon that wasn't a three-piece
