History of the Bay Podcast Ep. 42: Goldtoes is an executive behind the independent labels Black N Brown Entertainment, Thizz Latin and GT Digital. Losing his father at an early age, he fell into the street life before transitioning into the music world. Goldtoes worked with some of the Bay's greatest rappers and producers to create the classic compilation "17 Reasons." This project featured artists like Mac Dre, San Quinn, Cougnut, B-Legit, and many others. Since then, Black N Brown has put out many compilations and solo artists. Goldtoes went on to start Thizz Latin as a way to keep Mac Dre's legacy alive and also has his own distribution company, GT Digital. Linking with South Park Mexican in the late 90s, Goldtoes later relocated to Houston where he currently resides. He has helped Berner throughout his career and continues to develop artists and put out projects to this day.

I remember seeing Goldtoes and Scweez at In & Out Burger right there in Hayward Union City back in the 2006 Hyphy movement. They was there having a business meeting. It was right around the time after they took Hoodrat Miguel chain and jumped him at the Dub Magazine show. Toes and scweez was having a deep conversation for bout hour lolol they wasn’t even eating no food loll ! I always wondered what that Convo was about

We was slapping imp, dre Dogg, glp, totally insane, rbl posse, dru down... all the greats from sf IMHO. Blessed to have been born when we was. Got to witness history.

Yeeee I moved to hatch and Herndon in the vadio when I was 17. Stayed on Pecos for a while before moving back to the Bay.
I remember that studio- pocket watch productions- Berner hooked it up with a free verse for us. That was so much love
