She did more then Inner City Life. She did collaborations with Cyantific, SPY and Blame. She was a massive loss to the drum & bass scene. She was equivalent to Craig David for the House & Garage scene. Just to give you a better understanding of how important she was. The drum & bass scene will never have no other like her again she was a one off and apart of the scene died with her.

I live in Flushing Queens, NYC. I can see the unisphere from Flushing Meadows Corona Park from my bedroom window as well as the Manhattan skyline in the distance. While hearing the song playing on my speakers, makes me proud to be a city boy

I’m happy you get that feeling. Because I live in England and this album was created here there’s an idea in my mind that people outside of England and London wouldn’t get the same feeling. I can see that this idea is just an idea, and not true! But of course anyone can appreciate this music regardless of their location and culture. And Goldie travelled to New York and painted graffiti murals there. An inner city metropolis is an inner city metropolis 🌃

Easily hands down the most beautiful piece of intelligent dnb to ever be produced (even Bukem couldn't better it). Proof if it was ever needed that dnb isn't just for the dance floor.

When I was nine I heard this for the first time on the radio. Begged my dad to get his album he came home from work with the black 2 cd version. Has been my anthem ever since.

Smartest move the Gold one ever made musically was bringing in the late great Diane Charlemagne to provide lead vocals for the Timeless album. Her Caribbean flavoured street soul elevates this magical album into a true work of art. Sing with the angels sister!

LOL ha ha ha...YEAH. Full on fucking shock! There are a rare few tracks that do that. I heard this track exactly (3) three times on some serious systems back in the nineties. Each time it felt like I had advanced to a new level in The Game. I remember this party in the Malibu hills. That system...then...this came on.

Have heard this jam in over ten years now and just stumbled upon it now and as soon as a started it up wow songs just as good as the first time I heard it when I was 16yrs. blew my mind away again lol love this track. it's so start. Makes my want to drop everything I'm doing in life and run to the inner city life.....not gonna happen though .but I will download it and play it loud and putit on repeat. Next time I feel like going cruising in NYC. In my make be leaves porche tt 911. That really is a honda element lx family car lol.
