Kate and Oliver were blessed to have a stepfather who considers himself their father... Most people don't have that. That shows what kind of a man he is. What a blessing he has been to their lives.

You can read Kurt's lips before hugging Kate: "Hi sweetie", listen (due to the microphone kinda close) his words while hugging "look how pretty you look" and the genuine look that only a father has for his daughter...

No. That is very messed up. Learn about parental alienation. Watch Dr. Craig Childress explain how often the alienating parent will get the child to call a step parent dad or mom. That is not healthy. That is pure alienation. Kate and Oliver were severely abused by Goldie and Kurt went along with it. They are not nice people. I hope the public and press pick up on this as they have gotten away with it for 20 years now. Lance Armstrong was a con for ten years. These two have done it twice as long.

chrisherrera1106 Why? You remind me of myself when I was a Lance Armstrong fan and others were saying he was a doper. They were right. I may be too regarding Goldie being a parental alienator.

It's so sweet how she says it's " my mommy and my daddy " I know firsthand what it's like to be raised without a biological parent/parents. Kate and her brother have been blessed BEYOND measure(like myself). I have SO much respect for Goldie and Kurt. They are such a rarity. It's heartwarming to actually see ppl put their family and true love first and not let lifes temptations override that. They remind me so much of my gparents 💜 ppl these days are too quick to throw everything away in hopes of finding better, not realizing they already had the best of the best. I wish them many more years of happiness!

Except not everybody has the best of the best and not everybody has the capacity to bring out the best in each other even if they are both good and decent people. It's wonderful for all involved in the Hawn/Hudson/Russell clan that they have the bond that they do but characterizing other people's marriage/partnership breakups as just throwing things away seems kind of naive and cruel. Not to mention, it's not really a "these days" thing; it's been like 40 odd years.

When I said the best of the best I was talking about the ppl who think the grass is 'greener' on the other side only to find out that's not the case at all. And realize how good they already had it. I totally agree about not everyone can bring out the best in each other but that doesn't apply to Goldie and Kurts relationship(at least in my opinion). Their mutual love, respect and understanding of the others wants and needs is whats kept them going all these years. They allow each other their own personal space to do things they like individually instead of doing every single little thing together. And when I referred to ppl "these days" I was talking about the over abundance of ppl lately who get in serious relationships/marriage yet dont/wont commit themselves 100% and/or would rather chase ass/meaningless shit instead of building a solid loving life/family/future with 1 person. Of course not everyone that's been in a failed relationship before falls under that category. Ppl seperate for many different reasons and some are beyond their control and no fault of their own. There's a big difference between ppl that don't take their relationships serious or bother to work thru it VS those that grow apart, fall out of love or realize over time they just arent meant for one another. It just seems like more and more ppl forget what traditional family values are and the importance of them with each passing day.

They actually tried having a relationship with him but he didn't reciprocate(from what I've heard) Dude is a total jerk tho! When kate and the father of their son(I forget his name but I want to say it's chris) split up her father said PUBLICLY that he wasn't surprised at all bc she's probably got a wandering eye just like her mother! What kind of father would dare say something like that about their own daughter! Especially saying it for all the world to hear ...hell he basically called his daughter a whore without coming right out and saying it so bluntly!

She was stuttering at pretty much have answer she was giving. When asked why she was invoked with the charity she seemed nervous. Because seeing people die is sad was basically her answer. Makes me think she’s only involved for show. Kate was really the one who made the interview awkward.

Aaron Alcala I think Goldie and Kurt are presenting themselves as this loving couple so people like you love them but in private they are other other people. I think I am seeing them as they really are but you are seeing them as this ideal couple they present themselves to be. Goldie cheated on both of her prior husbands and now wants an open relationship. Kurt seems fine with that so I am not saying he is being deceived. What I am saying is this is not a marriage the way most people consider it with type people in monogamy. This is more like a business arrangement. They both love the Hollywood lifestyle. Swingers. That’s fine if they own it but they don’t. It’s as fake as Lance winning the tour seven times cleanly. That’s what I don’t like. Also they have hurt people. Specifically Bill Hudson.

Got 3 other kids in the same state as him in US and his wife lives with one of the kids. I live all the way in UK. I've seen a video of her biological father, absolutely useless man. Glad she has a real father. My dad always introduces me as his first child even though we are not biological. Thanks to all step parents all over the world.
