You can do it! I swear I believe that!! Just start one dot at a time, start tossing in a swooshes or a line and then you realize…. Look what I can do. It still blows my mind. Thank you so much for the encouragement. I still feel very much like a beginner because it’s a never ending sea of variables with this art. I just love that because it never gets boring.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought you have used a golden pen... It was so neatly done... I have just started making Mandalas and I am not an artist. Learning to use the paintbrush is what I am doing these days.

Thank you ♥️ I practice a lot with this brush and I still don’t have it nailed down but I’m a lot better than before. I practice by painting tiny words on kindness rocks ♥️

1st thought: Oh, what a great stencil, I wonder where she got it? 2nd thought: Oh. It's not a stencil. It's a vintage doily. I wonder how she did that? 3rd thought: 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 4th thought: You could put every known tranquilizing pharmaceutical out of business. Pfizer, have you watched this woman? Watch out! You just popped up on my screen. I was supposed to be doing something else. Like washing pots and pans. Then I saw you lay down the first dot, saw the grid, and realized you were going to paint this by hand. I couldn't pull myself away. I felt as if I'd been put under a spell. Watching you was better than meditating. Thank you. Exquisite. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ BTW. SUBSCRIBED 🙏

This is gorgeous. I'm going to give it a try. Your tutorial is clear and concise. :) Only thing is I don't see the guidelines part. I wantched the whole tutorial and the largest tool you're using is an 8mm that fills in between two pencil lines. I'll figure it out from there.

You are soooo good at scrolls. Did you like that brand of paint your daughter gave you? It looks like it went on really well. And, the gold looked really smooth, like Arteza's does. DecoArt's 24K gold is a great gold, too, but seems a little more glittery - if that makes sense. Just beautiful, my dear. ❤ That design would be gorgeous as silver on navy blue, too. Hmmm. Might have to try that on my next one. 🤔

Oh that would be gorgeous. When I compared it to my gold stash I thought it was best compared to folk arts treasure gold. But!!! I forgot about 24k. I pulled that one out of rotation along with all the Sheens because they are a mess to clean up 😂. I liked this paint but it seemed to coagulate a bit faster than I wanted. But.. I never popped a bubble in it either. It was nice but that price. I used half a bottle on this painting. I don’t think I wasted much either. Being from my kiddo though… it’s solid gold ♥️♥️♥️

@@JaDeLRocks I know what you mean about the extreme sheen - it dries so oddly on the palette; however, I use this cool, little palette made of rubber (that's what it said in the description on Amazon), or silicone. It's flexible, has a lid, and I cut a round of Masterson's Sta-Wet palette sponge (wet) to place between the palette and the lid. Although it has only 7 paint wells, I can keep paints viable for well over a week in it, and once they are dry, the paint peels off. As for the metallics, I wipe them out with alcohol. But then, you wouldn't have the benefit of circling it around on the plate with your nifty arrow. 😁

I just drew it with a watercolor pencil (link in description) and I removed it with a damp towel. I show drawing it in the beginning and removing the pencil marks towards the end. I’ve included chapters do hopefully it’s easy to find. Lots of links in the description too. Thank you so much for your interest and kindness. This one turned out pretty neat. ♥️♥️♥️

I'm very sad. The link to culture hustle hasn't worked for me. I am in the UK, so perhaps that's why? I'm in love with this mandala and really want to do it, but it will have to be an alternative paint. What we're you using before this gift?

Hmmm I think he’s based in England. You could search? I love Folk Arts Treasure gold and my daughter says Golden makes a very similar paint. I say you could paint this tutorial with any gold you like. DecoArt has some really pretty golds too. Good luck.. 🤞🏻
