GOLDENMATE sent me the Orion 1000 12v 100ah Lifepo4 battery to review. This battery checks all the boxes. I can't find a problem with it except for one TINY little thing....

I just checked out a Mehrpow 100 AH 12.8 volt battery. It turned out to have 107 AH also with Bluetooth. It has pouch cells and performed excellent. It would be interesting to see if your has pouch cells. Does the top of your battery come off with screws so we can see? Enjoying your reviews thanks for your efforts.

Would having a 120 amp BMS output allowance for 100 amp cells concern you about long term cell life? A T Burke

It would be the heat that's generated that concerns me. I would hope no one plans on running a battery that amperage consistently.

Is it possible to reset the BMS on this battery. Mine has a blank display, no bluetooth, but 13.5v. It won’t charge or discharge. It’s like the battery is just sitting there turned off.

I believe you would need to open up the case and disconnect and reconnect the balance leads to the cells. Your situation doesn't sound good.

can you open it up. to confirm the quality cells in it
