It's only the pre-season so far, teams are trying to shoot over and around him. Nobody wants to be demonised as the one who wrecked the phenom's career in pre-season, but once the season starts, they will come at him. It's a matter of how much hits he can absorb before his body gives way.

@@iBoxPhone Have you read my full comment? (Rhetorical question, you haven't) How many PFs has he taken a charge from in all of pre-season? How many times can his body take a lowered shoulder into his gut? It's only pre-season and teams have no incentives to go at him. Given the hype, who in his right mind would really got hard at him in meaningless games? Once the season starts, he'll get his fair share of welcome to the NBA moments.

The young French dude played 4-5 games in preseason and already progress in an incredible way compared to his summer Ligue debut. Everybody speaking about his freak body capabilities but the basket IQ of this 19 years old man is just outstanding. Let him get 40 games RS experience and he will be a pure nightmare for anyone. The Spurs are disrespectfully underrated by all medias but this young team will be really surprising. Muddy can save the GSW season, let's hope Kerr don't make too many mistake like last year with the rotations. Is hard core even for a legend like him stay focused for all this years.

Alright so Warriors if we want to win this damn championship, TAKE DEFENSE SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We clearly don’t have enough rim protection or Center depth so here’s a few names to get started that you could sign that are currently free agents, #1 Bismack Biyombo, why do we do this deal, spent last season with Cp3 and Saric so they already have established chemistry, also he’s the best shot blocker out of available free agents according to per 36 minutes he’s averaging 3.6 which would be good for 3rd most in the league! #2 Nerlons Noel, why we do this deal, he’s an established shot blocker, defender and I believe he’s 6’11 so basically 7’0 #3 Gorgui Dieng, why we do this deal is he’s 6’10, according to his per 36 stats he averaged 1.4 blocks so he’s a great shot blocker as well, also has somewhat of a 3 ball yea his percentage doesn’t say all that much but he can still knock down a 3 here and there when wide open. #4 Kai Jones, why we do this deal, because fck it, he can block the shit out people when he plays and he’s athletic af too and young and I feel the Warriors and all the veteran leadership could turn his situation around in the right direction! Any other players (specifically Centers or PF) we could potentially sign put them down low and provide a statement of why the Warriors would do the deal, also some Warriors insider if you come across this PLZZ relay this information to Mike Dunleavy jr so he can finally for the love of god get a big man capable of rim protection!

The warriors are that team. With that said. When any team plays against them, they won't need any motivation . Therefore they will bring their best game , as for the warriors, every game is a final this season and that is tough.

VW just has exceptional instincts for ball. There are tall dudes that just don't understand how much time and space they need to block a shot but Wembanyama's positioning is already world-class. In that way, he's actually a lot like Steph: him just being on the court changes the geometry of half-court basketball. With Steph, everyone has to be a foot closer to the three point line. With Victor everyone needs to be an extra foot away from him.

Liking what I see from this season's Warriors. It's a preseason match but they are still playing high-level ball and hustling like they want it. Warriors defense is presently sporadic, but better than their previous preseason games. I like that Chris is coming off the bench, but also when he starts. lol Wonder how Kerr will finally employ his expertise. Our bench is strong and deep, and will be saving the team from 2nd & 4th quarter lulls, finally. And we finally have 4th quarter closing power as well. I only have two worries : Klay Thompson's current languishing play, and team health throughout the season. Our starters are getting up there in age, and this season with be the most difficult yet, due to the great level of league-wide parity. Warriors shooting was a bit off in this game, while Spurs basically couldn't miss. I'm predicting the Spurs to be a major force this season. Not solely because of Wembanyama, but because of the strength of their entire team make-up, team continuity, fast paced accurate shooting, and general-all-around defense from so many big players. They have put together a VERY scary team. ----------------- Not on the Wembanyama bandwagon. He needs to show me more, like consistency, staying power, and injury prevention. If he can go at least 1 1/2 seasons while doing half as much, then I can possibly see him as a star potential. Otherwise, I'm just not a bandwagoner like so many are practically dying to be.
