I wouldn’t say Nurkic is a better overall player but he most definitely fits better and gives the Suns more of what they need. A sturdy interior presence who is going to rebound and contest shots. Ayton wants to be a scorer and have plays drawn up for him. But at the same time Ayton doesn’t really have post moves.

Nurkic is completely useless as far as their title aspirations go. I can't believe that some people consider him an asset at this point in his career. Saying that a young, reliable, defensively capable center with a new better coach who was ready to work with him - is worse fit with an injury prone offensively powerhouse backcourt than a past his prime, always DNP, slow, dead on his feet defensive free space - is ridiculous.

Nurkic acts like a professional unlike Deandre and anywhere he goes he will give 100% effort. Plus he shoots the 3 ball and helps stretch the floor unlike Ayton who can’t shoot. People are gonna have to put respect on Okogie name because it’s hard scoring in this league let alone when your the 3rd or fourth option with barely any touches a game. Grabbing offensive rebounds for extra opportunities multiple and-1s and heart on defense. Love it. They need to give Yuta some more time n looks because 2-4 from 3 50% is solid. Hood suns win without Bradley.

Just went I think he’s ready he shows slight moments when he’s not. Why was he so passive tonight after building his confidence up preseason, he passed on a few shot attempts and drives to the basket, kept overly emotionally reacting to calls he didn’t agree with and missed those 2 FT at the end. Less fluid motion on offense with CP3. Just not a motion offense guy. Makes good plays, but Warriors offense depends on everyone being a playmaker, not just one guy. That's why they ended with just 18 assists on the night. People are saying the game was in reach, and i get that - but what about a normal game where KD can actually score the ball? Or when Beal plays? Feels like Wiggins and Klay had the ball more than Steph. Let Steph make plays, not just score. Those things open each other up

Neither team looked at their best tonight with both teams losing key guys like Dray and Beal. And both teams looked rusty as hell. But still, what a game that was. Especially after the Warriors got that run in the 3rd quarter making it a more exciting game. The Warriors will need time to adapt with CP3's pace, and the lack of size remains an issue. While the Suns still have to answer the question about their defense. It's going to be a great season for these two teams if they're able to figure that out in time

  • @Trapattoni21

@@DamnWhoAsked part of it was due to the Suns defense. But let’s not forget that in this game, Steph missed a lot of shots that he would normally make and Klay keep chucking up bricks the whole game. And 38 year old CP3 manages to get into the paint with ease getting a couple of buckets and some of them are and ones as well when he wanted to. Both teams didn’t play at their best and it’s facts. If the Suns playing with this type of defense against teams like Milwaukee and Denver, they would get blown out of the park. Their defense still didn’t convinced me to the slightest. Only time will tell if they’re going to get better or not

lots of people were flying in the arena last night but none of them were from the Warriors. Paul shouldn't play on the starting lineup if we still have any doubt, and the height advantage was killing the Warriors.
