Rockets fans will have you thinking cp3 was destroying the gsw in 2018. When in reality, he was only averaging 19.7 points on 40% from the field with 4 assists and a negative +/- of-20. Rockets were outscored by 20 with cp3 on the court throughout the series. Gsw didn't have Iguodala for games 4-7 ( avereged 15 against them in 2019 when healthy) and Thompson was playing injured with a knee injury. 2019 Rockets lost again to the Gsw. Rockets fans will say Cp3 played worse, when in fact, he played about the same. Cp3 didn't particularly play well in 2018. 2019 cp3 averaged 3 less points, but more assists, rebounds and better efficiency. Also had a similar game score. Gsw also didn't have KD for a close game 5 and full game 6 + Cousins out. Rockets couldnt even take advantage and got eliminated without kd .

Saw this again and I remember PJ Tucker seems to have locked up curry in the 1st three quarters. Entering the last mins draymond and steph made him involved in the pick and roll again. steph scored all his points against tucker. I think they did this on purpose, steph knew he can score over tucker and made houston believe he can guard him but down the stretch they made tucker a defensive liability.

look at houston's score at 4:25 and 4:31 its "6:36" left and "5:27" in the second quarter in the game clock..
@KunalSethi98
Жыл бұрын
Short version: An late clock Eric Gordon three-pointer initially counted but after review during the timeout the officials realised that the shot came after the clock expired and shouldn't count. So they took three points away after the timeout. Long version: After CP3 made a two to put the Rockets 37-33 on GS at 3:46, they never scored those three points that showed the score to be 40 in the next possession. When Iguodala hit the three at 3:54, GSW actually took the lead 37-38. Then Houston scored two points to make it 39 to take back the lead (but it showed 42-38) So GS had to come back to "tie the game" at 42-42, but in reality Houston tied the game at 4:31 After they fixed it in the timeout

All I’ve heard from rockets fans is how bad Cp3 looked in the playoffs vs GS in 2019. Dude had what 27, 11, & 9. I’m not understanding. How about in the clutch the GSs warriors executed & the Houston rockets didn’t.
@vaudou_

You didn't watch the games at all then. CP3 was saving himself that whole series until the end because he didn't want to get injured. That's likely why Harden pushed for a trade
@marshae8089
2 жыл бұрын
@@vaudou_ no harden pushed for a trade bc he foolishly thought cp3 was done, he also didn't like CP3 pushing for more ball movement & less iso. And cp3 got tired of harden not being involved with the offense when cp3 had the ball. That's facts, then he proceeded to see cp3 was right bc look & behold he's moving the ball in Brooklyn more & getting Russ wasn't the right move. I'm a cp3 fanatic I've watched every game of his since wake forest.
@vaudou_
2 жыл бұрын
@@marshae8089 Nah it was the 2019 series that did it. If Paul played to the best of his ability from the start they probably win that series. That's why Harden pushed for that dumb trade. He figured at least Westbrook would go 100% and not save himself with the series in the balance.
@marshae8089
2 жыл бұрын
@@vaudou_ yeah him & cp3 argued along with Cp3 being hurt(about the offense & cp3 was tired of standing in the corner shooting 3s) he wanted more ball movement. Cp3 said tho he told darly he was going vegan to improve his health, darly lied & said he wouldn't but he did bc harden wanted him gone. Cp3 has proceeded even since to make a finals, another WCFs probably gone make another, make all star games, have his team at the top, & in MVP talks. Meanwhile harden got played by Kyire. And I put the most blame on MDA but Kobe told us, u can't win the way harden played & how MDA coaches. We'll see what happens this year with their respective teams tho 🤷🏽♀️

The best tem. The Splash B.
Anytime someone says Steph isn’t clutch in the playoffs, just point them to this game
It’s crazy how the Houston rockets were always some sort of a challenge to the warriors and harden did well on the rockets, 2019 was a great playoff year but now sadly a lot of things have changed now in the NBA.

At 2:11, I wish Looney still drove to the hoop like this. The way he attacks the hoop in this is awesome. Todays Looney looks to pass it, not score.
that injury must’ve messed up looney he made more athletic plays in this game then the whole last season
everyone talking about the 2018 series where CP got injured but i don't hear anyone talking about this rockets team.They were healthy but the warriors lost KD and still couldn't beat the warriors same with the blazers

6:32 Mike Breen swear? Nah ik he wasn’t lol
Every morning I wake up and watch this video to remind myself to never be as dissapointing and disgraceful as the Rockets were
It's funny to watch all these first half highlights and see no Curry, as he picked up early fouls both in the 1st and 2nd quarters, largely limiting his minutes. It all paid off in the 2nd half though.
Im so excited next season playing with klayy
I miss life without the coronavirus.

3:24 this version of looney is tuff
I just wish life was always normal without face mask, or social distancing everywhere in the arena.
Bogut’s defense tho
4 quarter 00:36:01 3point from klay that give epic to losing end of season to HOUSTON R
I'm still thinking how could the Rockets make Curry scoreless but can't blew the Warriors in the first half. They sucked, they didn't maximize the opportunity.

You didn't watch the games at all then. CP3 was saving himself that whole series until the end because he didn't want to get injured. That's likely why Harden pushed for a trade
@marshae8089

@@marshae8089 Nah it was the 2019 series that did it. If Paul played to the best of his ability from the start they probably win that series. That's why Harden pushed for that dumb trade. He figured at least Westbrook would go 100% and not save himself with the series in the balance.
@marshae8089
