Looking destiny in the face, Hong Kong's star horse, 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝘅𝘁𝘆, needed some luck on his side...
He was aiming to become only the second horse since 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗕𝗮 𝗕𝗮 to win three HK International Races, and after drawing barrier 14 two days prior... we felt we had to intervene with a traditional Hong Kong practice.
A trip to the city's famous 'Villian Beaters' proved perfect for Vincent Ho and his Hong Kong Hero.

He's inbred 4x4 to Damacus. 4x5 to Northern Dancer. Still that little inbreeding is unusual these days. Too bad GS is a gelding.
中継見ていましたが、香港マイルのゴール後のスタンドの盛り上がりは凄かったですね。メインの香港カップ以上だったかも。 香港の英雄で間違いないですね。引退後は日本に来るようで楽しみです。

Deep Impact represents Japan. Golden Sixty represents Hong Kong. Interestingly, both are the sire of American horses, Sunday Silence, and Medaglia d Oro.
