Golden Ring With Oval Diamond Cut Brilliant Crystal Quartz

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Greetings! Thank you all for watching my video. I've been wanting to make a more classic engagement ring for a while now, so there you have it!
For this one I used 85/15 gold brass, I really love how this particular alloy gets that yellow gold sheen when polished and it's much more resistant to oxidation than regular brass. The stone is an oval diamond cut clear rock quartz, it really is gemstone quality with zero inclusions and it shines bright like a diamond in sunlight.
If you have questions, suggestions or just want to say hi, feel free to comment! I will answer to everyone!

Hi. About the blowtorch. What type of solution do you use in your hydrogen cell to increase the flame temperature?

Hello there, I got my water welder already filled with the electrolytic solution, I just have to add distilled water every now and then...I don't use additives to increase the flame temperature - which in my opinion would be excessive, as the flame goes up to more than 2000°C.

Looks great. Do you seal the brass jewelry after you finish polishing? I made my first soldering brass ring and it oxidized right the next morning. Any tips to preserve that shine?
