Its not class 10th level bio. You have to prepare both 11th and 12th class ncert level bio. But yeah, in IAT questions mostly come from technical chapters of biology like Photosynthesis, Respiration, Biomolecules, Genetics and Biotechnology. If you prepare only these portions of bio, you are good to go. And a PCM student can easily handle technical portions of biology.

It's not compulsory. Pcb students can also give the exam. You can do a few chapters from maths to increase your score. But even if you don't, you can give the exam . You won't be able to get into iisc But can get into any of the iisers​@@iwantcheeseburger5586

For all those who don't know about IAT,, it's a national level entrance exam for those who have keen interest in Science and want to become a Scientist.. Also with this exam you won't be able to get into IIT because it's for degree in Science.. also these institutions don't have any placements as that of IIT's.. So if you want very good placement then go for JEE exams only and not any alternatives.. there is no substitution for hardwork..
