I work in a nursing home in Sydney, Australia. I show your clips to my aged care residents and they love them. One of my male residents had the courage to come of the closet because of this very performance. He is 88 years old and we are having a coming out party for him next week.

I am sorry. You need to see the Golden girls on tour. Dorothy in the show is so much better then this one in SF, and he is more spot on!

This is why I don't like theater. Too unrealistic.

This really demonstrates how talented the original actresses were. The timing here is poor, destroying lines that should get huge laughs and the ad-libs and improvs, especially from the guy playing Dorothy, aren't in keeping with their characters. Also, everyone delivering lines to the audience rather than the cast makes it feel like a recital. All the gushing comments here are indulgent. This is amateurish.

Give me the real golden girls anyday,didn't like this.

@@burningitxthe timing was too off. I know the long pauses were for comedic melodramatic affect but they were too long for stage and slowed down the action.

I promise this was stupid and did not make me laugh once why did they make this and why weren’t there better actors but it was nice to see blanch be the adult for once in a situation instead of a spoiled bratty child…..

Golden Girls tour is 10 times better. These guys don’t even sound like the real golden girls.

The show itself was a riot this sucks. But one place Blanche is awful

This is incredible badly done. It’s just always uncomfortable to watch with these GG obsessed gay men bringing down the legacy of the show with their amateuristic little plays. Always the same mix of bad timing and over the top acting. This doesn’t deserve any audience.
